Restart GT5??

Hey Guys

im in a mad/sad mood

Today when i tried to log in it said that my account was banned or suspended
and when i called Playstation they said i had to pay 50 bucks to reactivate it
but im tight on money.And then i started thinking about making a new account but i had everything on my old one from F1's,Classic Rare cars and even the DLC.So i dont know what to do.

Should i make a new account and lose everything i worked so hard on GT5 and everything else?

Or should i just wait till i get the money and all??

Honestly man, what kind of shenanigans were you up to on that account? I mean, they don't typically ban you for nothing so far as I am aware. Besides that, it's all virtual. No harm in starting over, might be more amusing to start afresh anyway.

Basicly when that someone got on my account they bought 5 things and
now i have to give them back 50 bucks that they gave me

and now i might have to rebuy the dlc and make a new account depending on what you guys think i should do.

You mean you hacked/stole them and got caught!?:dunce:
 
I say pay the 50 bucks and save the trouble of months of grinding. You'll pay some of the 50 already with rebuying the DLC.

Someone else got on my account and i wasn't on and they bought those 5 things i got a refund but now they want it back
 
What do you mean they want it back? You should give anything to them except your 3rd finger, if they want your money for nothing.
 
That makes no sense. Thats just Sony being :censored:holes. You can't give someone a $50 refund, then suddenly tell them they have to give you $50 or else they can't play anymore. Thats just douchey. It was Sony's decision to give the money back, so why are they banning the customer for their bad desicions? If anything they could have denied the refund in the first place. Instead Sony started a chain reaction resulting in the banning of an account, at no fault to the customer. Besides, $50 is worth much more to a person than to a company worth millions. Sony is being no different than a school bully, threatening to ban an account unless the victim gives them $50. This should be illegal. 👎👎👎 Sony loses 1,000 respect points from me.
 
I might call them again to see if its true or not cause its not right from my point of view.

But for those of you STILL confused heres what happened in a very understanding way.

So I was not on the PS3 and no one else in my house around November,3 to November 10.Once i got on to play some GT5 and other games i checked my account mangage ment to make sure no one was on it and what i saw was 5 things that me or no one else i know did not buy.I Called PlayStation and they said don't worry will give you a refund and all that.

a month later after the incident or yesterday my account was banned.I asked PlayStation why it was banned and they said "Your account is banned for not repaying us tne 50 dollars from November 10 so until you give us the 50 dollars your account is permantly banned.
 
That just sounds really, really, really strange.

Why should they even give you a refund in the first place? Why should they even believe your account was "hacked" or w/e?
 
Should i we call them or something??

and also a question can you copy GT5's data to another account???

I`m sorry, but I have to agree with these 2 comments.

After reading your explanation the way it`s written (so I admit I could`ve mis-interpreted it), it just throws up more questions to what actually occured on the account.

Was the account accessed from your usual machine or not?

If it was, who else had access to your machine whilst you were away?

Your lines "not by me or anyone else in my house" & " I checked my account management to make sure no-one else was on whilst I was away" leads me to ask why were you suspicious enough to check & why would you freely give anyone else in your house access to your account login & password, why did they not make their own accounts?

I`m sorry for the negativity, but my instinct is that you`re not telling the whole story.

SOMETHING is just not right here.

You mean somebody else whom you had never been acquainted with, logged in on your account to buy some stuff with your cash stored in your credit on your PS3?

The case sounds really strange however well you make a speech to us about your matter, I don't get why anybody else is in need to log on his stranger's gaming account only to buy products he wanted then, despite the fact that there are other means to order them other than that way... And the password you entered in making your own account for the first time, was that simple so that it could be detectable/vulnerable in terms of security from other people? Nothing but bothersome and weird.

none of my family members or friends have access to my account accept me.
 
1.) Change your password.
2.) Create new email address/PSN name
3.) Start Over
4.) Do not enter your credit card information again. Use PSN cards.
 
Man I really hate it when ghosts buy things on my PS3
