Restore to previous update version?

Ok as the title suggests I am interested in restoring my game back to version 2.0, I know if I delete game data it will put me back to original version 1 then if I try to go online it will ask me to update, I guess that will update me to current version? So does anyone know if there's a way to by pass this and update to version 2.0? If not has spec 2 version been released on disc (as new game) yet?

Just cancel the update progress after it has finished installing the Spec 2.0 Update. You still won't be able to go online until you are at the current version.

You need to work out how many updates will get you to Spec II. Then update the game with the delete game data trick and all, and once you get to the update that Spec II is on, wait for that to finish installing, then simply cancel. You should be back at Version 2.0.

Ah so each update there has ever been will be downloaded and installed separately? So I could download and install them one at a time stopping when each is done to check the software version?

Hmmmmm when i tryed this i was at 2.0 and when i satrted the game it just kept at a black screen...........
