I got my dads car again today :D
My mates and I took it up to this place that I walk through to get to school. Its a steep walkway/driveway with loose stones and pine needles all over it. Do I need to explain further?

I have a driving lesson booked with Passrite in two weeks and then the week after that. Damn full bookings.

I want my license and a car, now.

You know... in my defensive driving course (which i passed) the instructor/teacher guy (who also happened to be an ex-cop) told us quite a few gory stories about accidents he had been to while on duty, including one where some guy said he took a 45km/h corner at about 75km/h.

His mates didn't beleive him so he took them to that same place to prove he could do it. Obviously i wouldn't be telling this story if it had a happy ending. It didn't because the car had the weight of three extra people in it (whereas it was only the driver before) and the only person to survive was the driver...

* Ahem... anyways... thats enough old person advice for now. ;) :D

Well, Meeekael, I'm certainly glad to hear that you're resisting peer pressure.

I am a safe driver.......just that was the first time....on the road...by myself......i couldn't help myself........anyways......i was nearly past 10.00 so i had to get home........lol......2 laws broken.....

That is absolutely no excuse. Don't ever use "It's late at night and I can't see any other cars" thought to instigate anything.

I wont use driving for fun....not my parents car!

Its just a method of getting from A to B........stop betting.....:(!!

So you'll use your car to do these stunts? Remember that line (method - from A to B), in fact tape it to your dash board, with my name next to it so you'll remember.

I still havent had a crash......was around when one happened...but didnt cause it......... .... ...... ..... .....:)

*snip*

Im scared now......I like my skin!!....no joke intended.....

Im not letting my friend have a ride home today...talk about resisting peer presure!!

My dad said that confidence grows before ability....I agree with that and now i am a sensible...safe drive......most of the time ;)

I'm amazed that you came to that realization as quick as you did. Most people your age take an accident to learn that. I commend you for taking those steps. Good luck, and enjoy the driving, it is fun.

Till later,

AO

been driving 2 years...2 wrecks, 2 tickits(both 30 over)..:( ive been 143, didn't get a ticket for that though.:odd: seems like when you are really breakin' the law..nobody around. but when you just get that urge to take it up to 8,000rpm the sirens come on and your ass is grass(the cops being lawn mowers.)

Like i said Der Alta........it was only my first time on the road, and i havent even been close to speeding since then.

Maybe teach HRT_maloo some special ways to be sensible, pine needles, loose gravel, arggghhh, Meeekael would crash!!

Heh.:trouble:

I took my Dad's 929RR for a ride the other day. Went somewhere I had never been before, and came upon the coolest sign ever. Scenic Road Ahead - Dangerous Curves Next 23 Miles. I value my life, though, so I took it slow.

It was sensible. There was no one around (theres usually **** loads walking up there from school) and we didnt go over 20kmh (the car itself, not the front wheels :trouble: ) so no one was in danger

The gravel road isn't that called the gut buster or something stupid. - Or is that the small section behind the gym thing at Coll?

I haven't been around Coll in about um 4 years.
