Why is it that nobody likes to ever make the NASCAR Races in GT5 remotely realistic by putting a horsepower limit on? The racing is closer, you have better control, and if you set the restrictions perfectly than the racing is pretty close to real life.

But if I ever go to a NASCAR room and suggest running a plate, they either treat me like I went and beat up their grandmother, or they just eject me.

I am extremely tired of running 215 mph by myself in normal rooms and 230 in the draft.

I'd just like to hear your thoughts on this

Make a room for it, and see who shows..

There are many reasons why.. Think about why Nascar uses these(saftey).. And why even real Nascar driver hated them(boring)..

Right now I'm watching the Duel at Daytona(IRL).. I bet every driver racing wants More Power, not less..

With a HP limit you would still get "tired", you'd just be going slower..:)

I make rooms, people show, then they leave almost immediatly

I hate restricter plate racing. Two reasons why I won't join a room...restrictor plates and boost being on.

502hp to 550hp. I run them as well. Check this out.

I have checked it out before and thats the reason I won't join. That and the fact that, that guy kicked me out of his room a while back because me and my team mate came in and won like 4 races in a row because we were bump drafting all the way around the track. I pm'ed him and asked him why he kicked us and his one worded response was "cheater" Very immature if you ask me.

IRL, the plates are there for saftey.

In the game, that's not an issue, so I say cut the cars loose and let them run at full power.

There have been plenty of Restrictor plate NASCAR lobbies.

It's not a very good idea to join an existing room and ask the host to change the rules for you. But, it's a very quick way to get kicked. So, start your own lobby with the rules and restrictions you want.

There were a good number today, I wonder why ;)
