An open for all three round race series with only Mazda's.

Three races but I'll give you four cars and tracks so that the third race will still be a surprise.

----------All you can buy except hp upgrades, nos and wings.
----------Tires:racing\Medium------(note:changed it from soft to medium)

The track:Trial Mountain Circuit reverse

The race:Hotlap run in practice(5Cr.).

The rules:Standard OLR rules

----------2 wheels on the track at all times
----------rumble strips are part of the track
----------no wall contact
----------no cheating
----------fastest lap replay must be saved

T- times can be discussed,no laptimes.
Sharing settings will be encouraged and needed. 👍

Also a big congrats to Skalp for rounding up the podium. 👍
His time was very ,very close to mine.
Jan,missed the podium for a few inches and Niels should had postponed his moving.

I knew it would be the mx-5 at TM. I have never done well at that track. I welcome the change to medium tyres, but would rather run on sports or road. Still i am enjoying this short series

Just had time for a handful of laps and I'm sure that, especially the first S-turn will provide a lot of memorable moments.

Good thing we're racing in reverse.

Yep it sounds good, I love Mx-5 and I had really a Mx3 two years ago...But the Mx3 isn't part of the game unfotunately.

The S-turn is possible now to take with 170-180 kph
With the tranny trick,steer in with 6,shift down to 5 or stay in 6.

hi all

I have tuned the car, do pretty good setups I think! And if I can give you an advice, it's maybe the time to go to Hks or Blitz to do some shopping. I have just discovered this and I think that the Hks suspension could be faster than the race one. Isn't it!?
But I have one basic question: Can we put 4 wheels on the pavement (sidewalk) which is just after the T3 in the tunnel?
Times split: 17'300/48'800/1'10'100

Niels is a small period offline but he definitely tries his best to be on the results list.

At the moment we are hunting you but I can't get a clear shot because of the dust I'm eating at the moment.

Ihaaaa. I'm back on-line.

And yes, I do have problems with this combo. I have a time, but no splits as I haven't checked my replay yet, cause I count on going a little faster. I'm way behind you already at the T1, Jan. The best I have seen are 17.4

Unfortunately I won't get much time on this sweet combo, cause everything is a mess in our new house.

What about the settings guys? Does it make any big difference this week? The few laps I have raced, have been with the stock ones (except tranny). They seem OK.

Now, I use the HKS suspension, which you can set the height up to 72! It may be usefull I think! I will compare.

I gave it a try (started about 12 laps) but couldn't figure out how to go properly through the first S. The best T1 I've seen is 18.8xx so I think I'll sit out this 3rd and last race too.

Last day of the Mazda 5678 series.

I really liked it and I hope the people who raced with me feel the same.
This was my first time as a host from an OLR so hopefully I did all the things right.

The atmosphere was very friendly and I'm thinking of a second race-series.
Perhaps now with some race-cars and not only hotlaps but multi-lappers too.
Please let me know what you're thinking.

Great little series, Sjaak. You did a terrific job. 👍

I would have contributed more, but have been really busy in RL the last 14 days.


A little feedback and some minor brainstorming:

• When you make the next one, please make it short again. Those 3 rounds is perfect in my humble opinion.

• A race car series sounds great. Mazda also got a couple of great race-cars in the game.

• I also like the idea of a multilapper as one of the races. I know you do a huge work with testing the combo's before you launch them. 👍 I think this is especially important to make a good multilapper race.

• Another thing you could consider is to give us racers some points every week (glad you didn't do it this time ). The someone could win overall and consistency would be awarded.

• Another idea is to make team event at the same time. Nothing like that to bring racers together.

All in all it would give you a little more work, but hey you're Dutch. You love work.

I would have liked to race in this series, but all that came when I had no more free time.
I feel ashamed that all I did in here was some pre-testing on the combos and didn't actually race them.

ARRGH! I totally forgot about this. I really wanted to run some laps, I love Miatas of course! I wish I would have remembered to run some laps here before I spent the last 3 days A-specing the Nurb 24 hour race! The first 5678 race was fun, next time our great host sjaak68 sets up another series I'll be sure to check in. If I can get enough time away from my WRS duties anyway. See all you guys later.

When reading the comments on the thread, I realize that it'll be impossible for you not to organize a second series.
On the one hand there are people who raced and are really enthusiastic about it ; on the other hand there are people who didn't race and wish they had.
