Are there any extensions for Firefox that will resume a download? I had a look at mozilla.org but didn't see anything.

I know there are other programs that do it. I was just wondering if Forefox can.

Not that I've ever heard of. But the Downloads window does have a link to "retry", so you don't have to go find the link to the original anymore. Better than nothing I suppose.

Yeah. I saw it had a Download Manager and I thought that was very handy, but I realised what LoudMusic just mentioned. Another annoying thing with that, is that you can't retry once you exit the Download Manager. At least I can't. Is this true for anyone else?

I think there's an option for the Download Manager not to delete it's history when you exit it. Try going to Edit>Preferences and checking the various settings.

When one of my downloads was cut short due to a reboot I tried restarting it and it just sat on 'Cancel...' for ever. It didn't do anything apart from that and wasn't actually doing anything..

Well, funny thing is, I'm meant to be corresponding with a Software Developer for an assigment at school. I've needed a reply from them for about 2 weeks, and my assignment is due very soon. Previously they said they'd be very glad to help.

I don't like emailing them. It doesn't annoy me anyway. I use another Download Manager.

Wait, wait, wait, are we talking about downloading "job resumes" from the internet? Because that's a completely different discussion.

Sorry, I understand my joke isn't funny but I had to post it anyway.
