Ok, I'm back from my summer break - I'm a little out of touch on whats been going on here. I have no idea who the forum regulars are now, who's good at what or any of that, and I haven't played GT4 in over 4 months :scared:
Time to get back into things here.

So, when I left I suspended all activity in the Drift Settings Journals. For those new here, or those who forgot, the Drift Settings Journals offered up one new subject car every two weeks and then we discussed the cars drift potential/characteristics as a group and offered each other advice on ways to deal with handling issues. The goal is to collaboratively put together some very driftable setups, the more input we get and the more people testing out or suggesting setups the better.

To see one of the more successful DSJ's we've had in the past, check this link: DSJ Volume 2

If I start this up again I plan to pick the topic car on my own - no more voting. I plan this change just to ensure that the topic car is going to be one worthy of discussion (ie: no FFs). I find this necessary because in the past people were nominating cars which were next to impossible to drift, and rarely did anyone put together a decent setup on the tough cars. It made for some really dull discussions. So my plan is to pick some of the more driftable, more popular cars hoping that this should make for lively discussion.

I'd like to see by show of hands who would be interested in the return of the DSJ's.

dang, youve been gone for a while. but i would like to see this again, it would liven the forum up some. and would be good for the newbies that want to learn what everything does, suspension wise.

Of course, I'd like to see these come back.

They were excellent for veterans and new members to get into the details of a specific car.

Count me in... about time I got some GT4 loving back in my life ;)

good idea BL , i think this thread gonna help some new drifter to really understand tuning parts effects ,suspensions settings and how just a little wrong setting can affect the handle of the car.
Specially for DFP owner ,who just a little more toe angle can make steering more hard to recover in neutral position for example.:)
