Rev Match downshift nerfed?

WTH how come it doesnt work anymore? I thought I was able to do it before?

Works fine for me, only time it doesn't is if I do a skip shift where I change down early and have to give a fair bit more throttle to match the revs, too much throttle and the game doesn't like it.

since the august update it has become alot harder to rev match when changing gears with out getting nuetral ,it just means when you put it down a gear very little or no revs are required
then before you let the clutch out rev it up to what ever
you want and dump it.

Also on up shifting so many people say you cant hold the throttle on while up shifting anymore ,but i found its just more touchy ,you cant hold it flat but you can give it the perfect amount of revs ,any extra revs and its neutral for you.

It does work when you go from 5th -3rd ,3rd - 2nd etc it just takes more rev matching.
