If you dont have a wheel reverse entries are going to be a b!tch because you can get nearly half the steering angle you can on a controller. You cant just tell someone how to do a reverse entry regardless if you know how doesnt mean you can do it and do it consistantly, not get lucky and do it 1 out of 20 tries. Now I'm not gonna sit here and brag about myself and post videos because it teaches you nothing, there are many on my channel but drooling over them will get you nowhere. Only thing thats gonna help you is how your suspension is set up to how you like it, doing a reverse entry is entirely how you like to drive the car. Get comfortable with the car you are driving, dont constantly change youre car because it "doesnt work" you have to keep experimenting with it and find where you are most comfortable with it.

Edit: And before you consider anything a "reverse entry" you better make damn sure you keep all the angle you started with, dont understeer and loose the angle you began with to gain control like mostly everybody on here does.

Stop being a troll and maybe help him if you think its bad?

P.s looks fine to me.

I'd say, practice and fine tuning the setup on your car is the key. Sure it will take time but I know have 10+ drift cars fine tuned for great angles and reverse entries. I don't think there is a really good car that stands out from the rest but my cars range from the Levin AE86 to the Mach 1 Mustang. These cars took a while to tune and all have there own unique setup.

Also the style of drifter varies, some drifters are slower and smooth while some are aggresive and fast. Again its just about tuning the suspension. I also find it's a little easier without any rear wing as this makes the rear grip and messes my reverse entries up. Again though, other drifters maybe different.

It just takes time but eventually you'll get it. :)

Funny how your quick to assume that was directed towards you. Only reason why I'm saying this is because we dont even know if this kid has wheel thats why its pointless to see how someone else drives. I'm making sure he knows exactly what a true reverse entry is, not just getting alot of angle and loosing it all at the end.

S2K: You obviously didnt read the entire post, theres not much specific help you can give someone trying to do a "reverse entry". It all takes time and commiting to a car where you feel most comfortable. Like I said we dont even know if this kid is on a wheel or not so theres not much more to offer.

Who was this aimed at ant?

Apparently JD893.

Edit: Did you even think to notice how much angle you lost on both attempts?

I was the guy that went to "post videos" seems like it was directed towards me but ok, its all good then. Lets just drop it.

 and thanks

I don't get it. You do a reverse entry? What have you accomplished? I'm trying to figure out why people kill to do these. Is it just because kawabata?

nah man... you straightened out before the corner.

That's what anthaliscous was saying, that you guys dont hold the angle into the corner. instead you get insane angle, correct yourself then drift the turn. It's not fluid enough to be a reverse entry

Edit: Not sure if this would be considered a reverse entry but i did this long time ago while and the quality was poor. *embarrassed face*

it is -_- on 1st turn

Its not..... you was backwards at first but getting a whole lot of angle then losing or correcting it throughout the turn is not a reverse entry its an obvious case of under-steer and correction due to not being able to maintain the same drift angle throughout the corner which shown by Kawabata.

Yes Kawabata loss some angle but he did not correct steering at all and does not understeer.

Ohhh i got it... i thought its just like reverse entry is 90 degrees or more... drifting on turn

I think my only mistake is that... i hold the e-brake too long that when i gas, it has a delay so i understeer... got it ^^ thanks danger for the correction!!

Your welcome also try not to double post because people are quick to jump to conclusions about it.

That was an absolutely bonkers drift entry... and he held it. Fan-freaking-tastic...

Neat stuff guys. Makes me want to experiment it myself. I honestly haven't tried it yet.

I know some of you are going to hate me for this but I would not class this as the perfect reverse entry, I would struggle to class this as a reverse entry to be honest. This to me is a 90' drift as is the title on some of the youtube vids. SURE its a good drift and requires a lot of skill, tuning, practice and guts but if you want to class something as a reverse entry In my opinion it would have to look something like this -

BTW It my pc wouldn't let me put vid up only link.

You cant do this kind of stuff without increased steering lock we are trying to do this on a game that doesn't allow steering lock adjustment. We can try but we will never get close to Kawabata's angle. That is what a reverse entry is skidmark sorry but it is, even mad mike talks about Kawabata in his video go to 1:49.

Then looses it all at the end mad mike is still starting out you cant compare Kawabata to him just in my honest opinion.

Well this was when they first built his GEN5 car, he can do reverse entry easily now. And I'm not saying Kawabata is bad or comparing Mad Mike to him, I'm just saying that angle when he first enters is what I would class as a reverse entry.

yes his angle was nice but he lost it all correcting
