Hey has any one tried change gears with the reverse button? (im sure you have) all you have to do is wait till the red light flashes then tap the reverse button and it shifts up :D i thought it was pretty cool cos its like a real manual where you have to take your foot off the accelerator.
Just thought id check whether im way to curious :odd: or most other ppl have found this out, when racing

i sometimes use it to get from 5th or 6th into 1st really fast...had no idea you could upshift with it .

Cool so it is just me and my curious fiddling, you can only do it when the change light is flashing, or your in the red part of the tacco 😈
It kinda changes a little slower but is still cool, i change with my thumb (quickly take it off accel and tap reverse then back to accel) :D

hehe its true.. it works.... but you must get the light 2 flash *incidating a gear change* but i still can't figure out why this would happen......
in a real car, you do that, the gearbox is bust....
GT3 style... you do that... nothing happens..
*and yet they call this the, REAL driving simulator?*
isn't somethign that is a simulator NOT suppsoed 2 be real?

no offense to PD and sony, they made a GREAT game.. but its just not.. realistic..... and they contradict themselves when they say its the real driving simulator when simulate really means to pretend something is happening....
the only reason i can think that they call it the REAL driving simulator is because they think their simulator is so real...

pardon my language..... but tell me if there are ne mistakes..... i'm not very awake right now...... 24 hours of straight hmwk just don't make you feel very well...

If your traveling along at anything more then 10-20km/h forwards you cant engage reverse, you can do it at anything below 11. I agree, some things in GT3 just deter me from thinking 'The Real Driving Simulator'

yeah but given your condition, you gears would still suffer from mass rear gearing..... what i mean by this is that the engine is spinning one way, but the gears are spinning another.. its like.. approaching the gears with a chain saw.... to give it a good picture.....
