There were a few nice classic Skylines there, but those truck exaust pipe things are odd to say the least. Maybe that's the Japanese answer to lowriders, cars with oddly cambered wheels and huge exaust pipes.

You know I think it is quite unfair calling these cars "ricers" and saying that the people have "no taste". Keep in mind Japan is a WHOLE different culture. Over there I'm sure this is viewed as normal and just another way for people to express themselves through their cars.

Yes, some of those early skylines were very cool. I want one of those exhaust pipes so I can blow fumes into SUV windows Those custom vans were pretty cool to look at. In no way (in my opinion) practical or cool...but fun to look at from a computer chair. How can they even drive when the wheels have that much camber though?

I don’t see a lot of "rice". There are some really ludicrous ones but I wouldn't classify anything as "rice". I feel the word “rice” itself is too overrated.

I see many clean modifications on that site. There are some cars that are really clean that I wouldn’t even classify as stupid.

Although those vans aren’t my style I would not call it “rice”.

anyone with enough balls to do that to a car deserves my respect. its not like those cars had any purpose...you dont see a brand new boso civic or integra or s2000, etc. like the rice over here. they saved those cars from the junkyard.

those vans are wild though...i wonder if they are even drivable. the rear goes out so far, if you turned on an intersection you might tail swipe some cars or pedestrians.

weird. but still kickass. lol.

i remember seeing a beetle over here with that straight up in the air exhaust.

it was raining...heavily. we were at a stop, and then as soon as we went, all this water exploded out of the top of the pipe again. that was halarious.
