What is the consensus with body rigidity? Does it work? What does it do? For it? Against it? Works like camber supposedly works?

The in-game description indicates that it will add stability or understeer. I have experienced the same on most cars. Some, like the Miata, seem to show very little difference. Not sure why. I only use it on really tail happy cars.

Thanks MCH!

I've noticed that it helps on older style cars (American muscle in particular), I think this is due to the way older cars tend to have a separate body/chassis unlike modern cars where the body/chassis are part of each other. If you have a big heavy body flexing around on top of the chassis its going to act the same as suspension that is too soft and increase lateral body roll. With Strengthening in place the body shell flexes less and counters the problem.
Imagine a square cardboard tube, if you hold the bottom in place and then shake it the top it flexes from side to side, this is what the body shell is doing on top of the chassis. If you try the same thing with a piece of square plastic drainpipe it stays rigid, this highlights the effect of strengthening.
Hope that makes sense

hmmm - normally when tuning a race car you want to take all the inconsistent variables out that you can, and then you can deal with the consistent ones...ie the tuning options. If you're comfortable with and understand all the options that are available when tuning your car (I'd say 90% of the people out there only REALLY understand 25% of the tuning options and what they do) then I'd say go for the ridgidity options...and rely on the tuning to dial the car in...make sense?
