I'm going to do some testing with the first picture because I always upload them too big, or too small, or sometimes not at all...

Once I get this right, let me know what you think.

GT-R Spec V @ Nürburgring

R10 TDI Stealth Model @ Le Mans

Minolta Toyota 88C-V @ Le Mans

Mercedes Benz E190 Evo II @ Nürburgring

Testing this image

EDIT: thumbnails will work better I think. And sorry for double post. Will use this one for later updates.

Veyron @ Le Mans This is one of my favourites, and was inspired by an episode of Top Gear I have recorded. The one with Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise; earlier in that episode James May took the Bugatti Veyron Super sport for a spin on VW's test track in Germany. Just as he was approaching top speed (about 263mph I think, which is what I'm doing in the picture) the music became very triumphant and the screen began to shake, it was all very "epic", but the Bugatti badge was in perfect focus, which is what I've tried to achieve here.

Nissan GT-R '07 @ Laguna Seca

Suzuki Cappuccino RM @ Tsukuba

Ferrari 512BB @ Bern Market(?)

R32 Skyline GT-R @ (will get this location in a while!)

Ferrari 458 Italia @ Nurburgring 24hr

Oh,love the last one! The temperature is just right... love it)

Thanks :)
Judging by your comment's time I assume you mean the Corvette one? I like it too.
I'm totally new to the photography side of GT so these really are my first 'proper' attempts.

A night time drive in a GT-R '07:

A couple more of the 458 Italia:

Comments would be appreciated. But be gentle with me as I'm only starting out with the Photo mode; I never bothered with it on GT4 because it was all a little 'daunting'. :D

Some nice pictures, the first one, GTR @ Nürburgring is really good, love the reflections and coulors. The Bugatti shot is cool also.

Some good ones, but you don't have speed motion in track pictures...

See my photomode too bro -> HERE

Lots of great photos in hear I really like the GTR at Laguna and the 458 at night.

Cheers for the comments and visit guys, I returned the favour and had a look through your albums. Some sterling work

I have a long way to go :D

Shoot, your shots look more life like then mine! these are really good!

I beg to differ. But thanks :D

I think it's something to do with the fact we are always self-critical of our own work but are more easily impressed by what others do. Because from the work I've seen here on GTP, mine seems very average and the likes of yours is outstanding.

So I've been having some more practice, and hope you like my efforts. There may be a couple of shots that are quite similar but I'm in "test" mode still and I'm not totally sure what will work, so I would appreciate some comments/constructive criticism:

Some more attempts. I would like some advice from you guys on how to make the cars look more realistic when photographed in-race. As you'll see, the Ford GTs look like paintings of photographs (if you know what I mean?), or even toys at best in some instances:

More will follow soon. Including the Ford Focus ST and Nissan GT-R Spec V.

I usually shoot my driving photos at 1/60 shutter speed. Although the premium cars in the game are highly detailed, the tracks often leave something to be desired. So I usually try to blur the background this way (take a look at my first shot with the NSX at Trial Mountain for an example, and compare the blurred trees with the actual trees). I think it's the contrasting lack of detail in the tracks that make the cars seem a little unreal, or out of place.

The miniature filter can also make cars seem like toys, as that is what it is designed for.

I think it could be the hard lighting at Grand Valley that could be making the GTs seem "cartoony" though. Try experimenting with depth of field and turning down the EV there. It may crush the blacks, but then maybe the elimination of the overexposed areas will be an improvement. I dunno, I haven't really shot at GV yet,

Some of the Raybrig NSX shots are bril 👍

Such as the first and the B&W with the other cars trailing in toe.

I think you have some very nice pictures, IMO the NSX is sexy.

Thanks for returning the favour in visiting and commenting 👍
My better half agrees with you. The NSX is her all-time favourite car.

This is your best set yet nice work!!

Thank you. As I've said, I'm only just getting into the photography side of Gran Turismo. I feel my work is gradually improving, and I'm glad someone agrees with me :)

Wow. Second Focus photo = sexy
Nice work, Rikki 👍

Really? I thought that was the worst of my Focus pictures, but threw it in there anyway :D

Thanks!

Sweet set RikkiGT-R! Love the second Focus photo, BTW.. which track is that??

The black and white picture of the Focus... Brilliant 👍
Probably the best pciture of a Focus I've seen so far.
