The MOMO wheels now come in alternate colors from at evilspeed.eu (but not at momo’s site at the time of writing).

I ordered from rogueracingdesigns the same color combo as the new Momo GT-racer 290mm : open top v2 , black frame and red Suede. It's a 300mm. I have to say the bottom of the Momo looks better though, but the red version doesn't seem to available in the US yet, and it's $100 more.

MVH wheels look great!
Do any of their wheels natively support the G Pro in some way? Looking at their Core lineup, I only see G29/923/920 support. You can just use the Logitech generic quick release, but it would be nice to get a wheel that either interfaces with the base itself or utilizes the RS Hub so you maintain PS support.

I’m debating getting their new 330mm round wheel. I’m hoping I don’t get weird ergonomics that I got with the 330 round SimPush wheel I got a little while back. Still haven’t pulled the trigger yet though. The customization options are nice though.

I have some similar questions...also if there are any disadvantages to this vs the stock adapter from Logitech.

I really like the idea of the screen being on the wheel and hate that isn't really possible with the Logitech adapter.

I mean...this thing is hard enough to see over...as it is without mounting a screen on top.

They have a discord...I actually started to ask them this...but wanted to see what Logitech revealed first.

I just got the Rs50 and pedals, love it and blown away by the feel so far, unfortunately the wheel is a sore spot. as in my thumbs are becoming sore very quickly. The stitching is right where I'm resting them on either side and it's sticks out quite a bit.
I really want something at least 300mm+.
I saw this one which looks pretty decent
Anybody tried it?
Also considering just getting the Gpro D-wheel but I wonder if the stitching is a problem on that on too.

I know some people on Reddit did purchase that rim when it first released. No clue how it is. Can’t say it would be bad though. I’m running the MPI GT330 rim right now, but I couldn’t tell you how it is without gloves.

D wheel from Logitech will be just as bad, if not worse, with the stitching.

Guess I may have to try gloves. It's funny, in the 3-4 thousand hours I've played since gtsport I've never tried gloves.
Maybe go with some aqua socks too while I'm at it. 🤷‍♂️

I would love it if Logitech came out with a 320 mm RS round wheel. The Momo can't be purchased for less than 400 buckeroos in Canada as far as I've seen.

Anybody tried it?
Just ordered the cheaper aluminium version not only because it looks nicer IMO, but...
Some reviewers mentioned that the carbon one has some noticeable flexing (when not connected to HUB); so i thought maybe the aluminium could be better? Am i wrong or is there a huge difference between these two materials...

Does anyone know which material is more prone to bending/flexing (flat thin plate?)

I think Carbon is technically stiffer and lighter, but I think it would all depend on thickness and the quality of the materials.
Both can do the job just fine I think. Especially for a GT3 style wheel I doubt you will have any regrets. Most complaints I see are about the top of a round wheel flexing a little, not the sides.
The other factor is the 2 screws that go in from the back, they help alot from what I hear.

Isn’t Carbon Fiber really strong on one axis but weak on the other. That’s probably the reason for the flex. I don’t know if the aluminum would be any better though.

The screws essentially keep the rim flat on the RS Hub itself which is fairly rigid already. It essentially uses the RS Hub’s rigidity to keep the wheel rigid.

Anyone have tried or have the intention to buy the 330mm round wheel from rogueracingdesigns?

It cost alot for Canadians, but I don't see any worthy alternative yet.

I also heard people with wide rims having difficulty reaching the buttons and paddles of the RS Hub, anyone experienced that so far? I wonder if it's just for 350mm.

I wish Logitech made the round wheel a little bit bigger than 291mm.. it's too small.

@LOGI_Rich does logitech has any plans to release a new round wheel that is a little bit bigger, like a 320-330mm? That would be awesome.

DO NOT DO IT. I ordered my wheel back in October. I’d tell you how I like it if I had actually received a wheel. I contacted them mid-December and they gave me a 10% coupon and told me it would ship the week of Christmas. They’ve ignored all subsequent emails from me.

That's really unfortunate and disappointing to hear because their wheels seems to be high quality with lots of customization options.

At that cost, they must do better than that. I really hope you receive your wheel soon, thank you for the heads-up and keep us updated on the situation please. I will definitely hold on for now.

Even if I receive a wheel and it’s good. The production time for the wheel has been absurd. We’re on week 14 at this point when they quote 6-8 (that’s still quoted on their website today). I just couldn’t recommend it. The production time might just be increasing and they not update their website to reflect that. Or worse yet, they’re going belly up and just took money and ran.

Yeah, that's not acceptable at all, that's crazy. They should at least reply to your emails and update their website to reflect the true time-frame.

Let's hope you receive the wheel and that the worst case scenario won't happen. I heard people orders taking a really long time but they all received it eventually.

I did push them for a refund. But they haven’t replied to my last 3 emails so who knows. I may go through the payment processor and see if I have better luck with them. I’m kind of tired of dealing with the hassle at this point.

Edit: they replied to my email. They did issue a refund, the coupon code is still good and will still ship me a wheel whenever it completes. So I’m happy with that resolution (still waiting on refund to process). They claimed that they’ve changed their business model and are trying to do a setup where they have wheels on hand to ship out (my assumption would be popular build specs would be on hand?). If I get a wheel I’ll update on the quality and ergonomics. I’ve been looking for something larger than the Momo wheel, and the SimPush 330mm ergonomics wasn’t great.

What a coincidence that they replied to your emails while we are having this conversation haha. That's good news, it's going in the right direction for now.

Keep us posted ;)
