Porsche 924S and 924GTR Le Mans 1982 (on a Mazda)

Well, this livery is not a masterpiece, but I had the feeling to do it. The best handling car I have yet owned, the car that teached what driving is all about. After my very first car I have bought myself a Porsche 924S. It had no ABS, Servo or anything more than RWD and the devil behind the wheel. The quality of this car was unbelievable tough, it handled all the abuse I had done to it without problems for more than 120.000 km. 200 on a iced Autobahn, the craziest drifts on lonely gravel roads, trackdays, city punishment and rides across europe. I miss the old lady still everyday...

While doing the blasphemy of making Porsches out of a RX-7, I made the Le Mans 1982 924 GTR, too. It won its class in that year and I love the 80s livery on that. Also no logos were available from the title sponsor I was lucky to scan them from an old magazine. I also made some body modifications to push the Mazda a bit more towards the Transaxle Porsche. To make it Sport mode friendly some decal positions had to be changed.

I went full eighties with this Lambo. This is a fictive Le Mans entry in 1988. Base paint is a colour change chip, the neon floor mesh is self made. I also recycled some decals from other liveries of me. I really start to like transforming number plates into radiators and other cooling stuff :D

Ferrari 365 Daytona & 458 Entremont

Tried to replicate the Chassis 15667 which featured a nice french design. To make it Sport Mode compatible I had to adjust a few things. Really hope this problem will be solved in the next GT. There are so many designs out there which drive me nuts cause they're not SM friendly, and also a ton of painstaking accurate replicas which are completly destroyed cause of this.

To finally complete my GT3 collection in GTS I purchased the 458. Wanted to see how the Entremont Rally livery works on a race car version. While there is getting lost some of the designs character, on the other side I feel some Wochenspiegel vibes. So I went with VLN (NLS) plates.

Ferrar 512BB #24127 Thomson & New Suit

After visiting Porsche with some liveries, I am currently discovering some second row heros from Ferrari. I found some pretty interesting but not successful 512BB race cars. The importeurs of Belgium, USA and France decided to make a race car out of the flagship car from Ferrari. The 1978 version was close to the street version, in 1979 they were more or less silhouette cars. Chassis #24127 did not finish the race cause of an engine failure. Some small adjustments were needed to make it sport mode friendly, so I give this a 90% replica quote.

I have (finally) a new suit - even two of them! Thank you so much @TommyKaeselau ! Really love the new look how the Bavarian pattern is integrated in the design, he also created a cool new logo and made a neutral AND a Löwenbräu version. Something I would never have achieved as I miserably suck in making suits and helmets.... :D

Found a beautiful icon of the Australian Touring Car Championship. Made a replica of it with the optical closest car we have in GTS, the Nissan Silvia. The Nissan decal on the door had to be made smaller to make it Sport Mode friendly.

Another exotic Group 5 car was this GTA from R. Bellina Racing. I played on this livery with Body modifications, 16 additional vents, wheel arches Band it hast a visible engine. As a VTEC was the most suitable decal avaiable, I used that one.

Ford Mustang / Escort DRM Group 5 Division 2 Boller Kümmerling - LEC entry


This is my entry for the Group 5 LEC. This one is based on the Zakspeed Escort, piloted and owned by Wolfgang Boller. This car participated in the second division of the DRM, this particular livery was a one time special for the 200 Miles of Norisring. Wolfgang Boller made a deal to promote (the pretty disgusting) Kuemmerling liquor.

I spend many hours in the weekend to finish this one, as there were except of the awesome Kuemmerling bottle decals close to nothing in the necessary quality available. So I build it with the standard GT decals and even handpainted the mascot. Luckily there are some model car replicas out there which helped me a lot, as also pictures of the car do not really exist.

For a one make race I wanted something special, so I made a replica of the awesome Alpina M3. Some say, that the Alpinas were superior to the works BMW which resulted in a kindly no entry for the 1989 season. Bovensiepen was also so in love with details, that even the race cars of him had nice interiors. Alpina at it's best!

Sailor Moon Lancer GT3 and GT4


Wanted to give this style a shot, so I've choosen the only anime series I have ever watched: Sailor Moon. I think I was 7, maybe 8 years old, so my memories are a bit faded out.
I made initially the GT4 version cause there was a DWG collecting dust and to give it some life. Have to confess, I quietly enjoyed making this, as the moon and stars theme was easy to convert. Car is fully masked with a colour change paint chip and the recycled star masks of my LEC Space Race Bugatti (which failed completly btw). Of course no Sailor Moon decals were made by me, so thanks to the creators!

I think I screwed up on this M3, I was not able to give it the look I had in my head when I started. Somehow the simple lines of the E92 defeated my simple masking job. But it has now some authentic amateur racecar vibes in my eyes, or at least I'm telling this to myself.

Aston Martin GT3 Gary Andrew Clarke Art Car

Made another Art Car, based on the geometric artwork of Gary Andrew Clarke. In opposition of the GT4 Supra I made a few weeks ago, I opted to put the decals all over the car. Really like how the geometric design is working on the shapes and lines of the Aston.
I'm also really happy that the GT World Challenge has changed to better looking plates.
