Screw your Tony Hawkins.

I believe just a mere half week earlier, they brought out THRASHER: Skate And Destroy. Crazy and super realistic, with ragdolls. PS1. You'll be getting chased from a first-person perspective of cops (wielding tasers), muggers, & dogs. You actually crouched down, then executed one flip trick to grabs, some spins, etc etc. Nothing arcade here.

Even Rockstar published the dang thing !!

I don't know why they dropped skateboarding..but they went on to do the Dave Mirra series. Amazing, great. Truly opened my eyes to BMX, real menacing sport.

I believe they did themselves in with BMX XXX. :\ RIP Z-Axis. And Activision owned them, I believe wikipedia said as well.

What? Is it just me, or is that post just comprised of random words?

Sorry guys but I could understand what he was saying here, granted it's written slightly badly but it's not incomprehensible by any means, it seems all that's happening as of late on here is people jumping down each others throats for no real reason 👎

So instead of jumping on their throats also can you please translate what the OP said? (Im not english and dont follow jive talk all that well)

If you don't know about Z-Axis, or any of the above games listed, it's no surprise I'm being misunderstood.

EDIT: Hey, thanks much Tiddy. And tribolik, what the heck is jive talk..? Haha.

I know who Z-Axis is. I owned Thrasher and a couple of the Dave Mirra games (Maximum Remix and 2). I'm just confused why there is a sudden act of outrage over a year after the studio was shut down, and 9 years after Activision bought them and basically ran them into the ground (even more so than BMX XXX did).

Toronado, yeh. I wished Tony Hawkins was seen past, as finally N0W they're seen past.

The EA Skate series..already 3 of them ? Finally, simulation skateboarding, with tons of fun. Just where THRASHER left off.

Too bad Z-Axis never got popular. Amazing early games. Ah, you didn't have Dave Mirra 1 ? It's almost identical to Maximum Remix, but pretty easy. I believe every level from 1, is in Maximum Remix, pretty sure. They'd give you different challenges, revisited level. Great games..

I remember contest levels from 1, are now challenge levels in Maximum Remix. You remember, I believe it's intentional, not glitch, if you kept holding onto X as you land/jump in halfpipes, how you gain intense air ? Man, I loved Z-Axis.

Yeh, REAL rap before MTV became wimp soul crap and FM radio, too. KRS1S0N. What a lyrical sensei.

Grind Session, man Shaba I think who developed that so should've done a sequel.
