Hello everyone and sorry for the wall of text 😊
Despite turning game on almost daily basis I feel like I'm missing something. I've so many untuned cars and for some reason I don't feel any motivation to tune them. Like, even EK9 Civic is still sitting untouched.
During FH4 and FH5 we had a thread on the official forza forum (hosted by @Jezza14), where we competed against each other in casual-competitive manner.
Usually no meta cars, just testing different cars and trying to put them as high as possible on LB.
Rules were pretty simple. One track, one class, "one" restriction (like car type, country+decade, etc.), one week.

I can try to host, but I've strong fetish to D-C-B 😜. I can solve that by using a randomizer sheet that I created back in FH4 days, when I was still competing in youtuber Failrace events. Would need to update it to FH6.
Other thing is that since I don't really do any "competetive" stuff my meta-knowledge ends on Honda Beat and Shelby Daytona. And I can say already that Beat, Sierra 700, Peel and Reliant would be straight up banned. We could use that list - Failrace event car restricions , but probably as suggestion, because e.g. I don't know why Lancia Delta S4 is banned. Thanks Zip. I’ll definitely participate and happy to host some events as well.

On your questions:

1. I rarely run anything lower than A class nowadays but appreciate my S2/R class preference probably won’t suit most! Suggest you just rotate it mainly from C-S1 but with others in the mix as well.

2. I’m happy to try purist or drivetrain specific events. Just need to bear in mind that not everyone tunes (and that some purist tunes will probably adversely impact auto players) so we may want to make sure some “starter” tunes are available for people for those events.

3. Also keen on custom PI - but same comments as 2 above.

I’m also not that clear on the meta. There’s some powerbuilds in S1 that could dominate certain events in the right hands and the McLaren 620R is known as being an AWD OP option but otherwise we might just need to play it by ear based on Lbs. A ban on offroad tyres for A class road/street may also be necessary.

I've updated my sheet in terms of car restrictions. Will try to add track/race type randomizer. Probably would be easier with AI, but will do it manually

@Jezza14 I agree with 2 and 3, that is why currently probability for custom PI is set to 1% and stock drivetrain/purist to 5%/5% (will lower that).
Still need to adjust probability numbers for each class or find some way to balance it out. Currently A/B looks very diverse, S1/C not bad, but other classes are meh. Like S2/R have 1-3 options in manufacturer and car type. Each "restricion" in that sheet is based on a rule of at least 5 cars available. I should add "open" as one of manufacturer options for R/S2/D.
Probably will drop whole "other" category, because it is not adjusted.

Updated sheet, so now it shows track and car restrictions on one page - google docs sheet
No probability for track/type of race, so there is as good chance for dirt sprint as for Goliath or any CC track.
Still need to review car restrictions. Like, are there even any cars for R class Cross Country?

Also, current probability for class/drivetrain. Custom Pi set to 0,1%, so there is a chance for it, but very slim.

Off-topic: This year can absolutely go ffff itself. It feels like every aspect of my life is on the bottom right now. Economically bad, socially bad, health bad. In past week I've sold my last two project cars (one was with me for 20 years and other for 13 years). And on top of that my grandma passed away yesterday
And all I hope for now is that it will not turn into Homer and Bart meme.

I've tested some cars yesterday to distract myself
Many did 1:06, some of them should do 1:05, but it didn't look like it would beat my Dodge RAM SRT10 time, so wasn't bothered to improve. Some were really slow, like SierraSierra Lancer which did 1:12/13 (no top speed) or TVR which did IIRC 1:08/09.
Current best 4 are Chevy Corvette Z06, Dodge RAM SRT10, Mustang SVT Cobra and (unsurprisingly) Ford GT. All of them can do 1:04, with GT it is very "easy".

E46 M3 and E39 M5 are pretty quick options. M5 did mid 1:05 easily, probably won't do 04, but still was surprised. Unfortunately no tune shared by any of followed by me tuners, so can't recomennd anything.
F150 looked promising power-to-weight wise, but performance was not there.
Viper, NSX and S2000 were very pleasany to drive, but was lacking in power.
Mitsu, Nissan and Subaru still left to try.

Quickly put together a 02 Z06 tune and clocked a preliminary 1:06.939 on auto. Luckily the track is not too hard as I'm not consistent on dirt or offroad.

So the event have ended yesterday. Results:

Since that I've done some laps with Ford GT and dropped that time to 1:04.2, so now I'm fastest GT on the board. I see a tiny posibilty it could do 1:03.XX. I've used my own tune (name: taiyaki, SC: 647 150 275). Totally can recommend tunes by TheDannny (any tune, maybe not the best for that track) and GreetedDust8 (shimanoyama wordl record).
Best non-obvious car were E39 M5 and Subaru Legacy which both did 1:05 easily.
All EVOs and STIs are depressingly slow on that track
