I voted both equally because I like both, but I use more road cars because... well... because there are far more road cars than race cars in the game =)

I chose race cars, SOOOO many of them are underused but are great cars, Like the TZ2,Stock, it is amazing for it's style and handling, but for the majority of GT6 users, speed is all, so nobody really buys it. The only reason anybody buys the 250 GTO is for the showoff factor.

I mainly use road cars. For me, I appreciate the physics at work: they pitch and roll more (particularly some of the older cars), and I feel that I can have a lot more input into their behaviour by the way I drive them (if that makes sense). In earlier versions of Gran Turismo, I used to tune most of my cars into oblivion, but in GT6 a lot of the cars can lose their own certain 'flavour' by overtuning.

I agree with this.

I think the road cars, especially when stock, just have more character (read: flaws) than the race cars, so you as the driver are more integral to making the thing go quickly.

I like road cars for the tuning aspect - you can personalise them more, choose what you want to do with them - unlike race cars, they give you a lot more choice. They have more feeling because of the softer suspension and sports tyres, plus I love the look of road cars. Everything about them, really.

Plus what @letdown427 said.

The poll isn't "what do you like more?" It is "what do you use more often?" You said you use more road cars, but you voted "both equally".

I voted Road Cars because my car usage is probably 90% Road Cars 10% Race Cars. I prefer to drive replica tunes, so I'm not even into tuning the road cars beyond their stock specs. I do have quite a few tuned road cars, however, for certain seasonal events and just to hit specific PP levels with some cars.

I mean if the game had 500 road cars and 500 race cars I would use all equally but since the game has a lot more road cars, its logical that I use more of them even if I dont necessarily want to. I suppose its not hard to understand.

Road cars. Plenty of choice and a huge PP range to play with. No upgrades allowed for career mode make it reasonably interesting and I've still got hundreds of them left to try.

I've got a soft spot for the touring cars too but I prefer the grass roots side of GT. Doing some races in wacky car choices.

I like mainly classic or modern GT cars,
GT isn't the best "racing" game on the planet, it's a driving game for me.

that's where Sierra is a great track, plenty of road to cruise on, no need to push 110%,
sit behind the wheel, crank the speakers and go

I generally prefer road cars but I like race cars as well. I am not crazy about the really fast ones like the LMPs and FGT but I drive those as well. The X1 and that newest VGT are just to fast to be fun on most tracks.

I love the S2000 race car and I have driven the DTMs quite a lot but I do like the road cars the best, not the super slow ones though they can be fun and not the really fast super/hyper cars. I most enjoy the road cars that have a top speed in the 140-180mph range

Seeing as how my top six most used cars are race cars, I voted race cars. The GT-R NISMO '14 & Shelby GT500 15th Anniv '13 are the only road cars in my top 10. Number 11 is my M4 Frozen, 13) GT40 15th Anniv, 15th & 16th are my Stingray Gran Turismo Concept & Huayra 15th Anniv. I have more race cars because I sell my road cars. I just can't customize the road cars the way I want. Especially the Standard cara.
