you just have to drive the crap out of the Miata that you have. Push it to the limits, and you will get ahead of the other Miatas, and then just play defensively. It's a hard race.

Flames,
What tires are on your Miata?
Have you done an oil change?

You can win this on pit strategy if you have a set of harder tires.
None of the Miatas in the challenge run more than 8 laps before pitting in.
If you can run ten laps between pits you will eventually pull out in the lead. Just remember to drive smoothly.

I was just going to say that, Gil. Welcome aboard, Flames!

I didn't know about the "virgin oilchange" trick when I ran the Spec Miata enduro. I used a stock (of course) LS on super slicks, and pitted on laps 10, 20, and 30. I was about 30 seconds ahead of the second place car, and I had lapped one or two of the back markers. But I didn't get the lead until the 30th lap or so.

Drive smoothly, and remember it's not a sprint race. You've got time to pick them off slowly, without heroics.

Thanx guys. This is the only endurance race i need. I want to get the 94H to race in the Formula races. Its all i need to finish simulation mode. Thanx alot

Wouldn't ya know it, I just ran this enduro! (And got the crummy 130hp Miata as my prize for 70 minutes of work... ugh.)

Anyhoo, my advice is get a Miata LS (you can get a free one for completing the Beginner's Roadster series, I think), then give it an oil change, slick tires, and maybe some new wheels if you're superstitious like I am. ;)

Then, qualify! Get yourself into third place at the very least so you don't have to waste time with the slower traffic, and also so you can get used to the car's handling. You can get 15 laps from a set of slick tires as long as you're not overdriving the car, so you'll only need to pit in twice on laps 15 and 30. The other LS seems to run a much softer compound and had to duck in for fresh rubber every three laps when I ran it, so as long as you drive smart and be patient it should be like a quiet country drive. That you get paid $100K for. :D
