No, the Hookers are in the game, you just can't have sex with them. So basically you can kill them, but not have sex with them. :lol: I also laughed at the editing here.

Well, that's alright then. Australia is safe from the evil GTA menace 'cos it's alright for little Jimmy to beat a video game hooker to death with knuckledusters, to run over her in his car, shoot her in the head with a sniper rifle or slash her open with a sword, but goddamnit no Aussies are gonna have sex with hookers in video games. :dopey:

Not really. Blake's ordered San Andreas from overseas, which means it's Uncut. (Noone mention any spoilers for KM, Spuds and Rancid's sake).
 
Yeah, lol, he has a rant every now and then. Some good points in there, though, but I don't exactly care that there aer no hookers. I don't care if they get edited out in San Andreas if there are hookers (noone confirm this in here due to spoiler purposes). I just never really got into the whole sex with hookers thing.

I spose it would be okay to try it once or twice, which is why if they are in San Andreas I will be doing it at Blake's place (he's ordered it from overseas). But no biggie for me.
 
You aren't missing anything-- they just sit there and the car rocks-- the comments they make are pretty funny though.... the hooker sometime says something like-- "is that it". I'm surprised they didn't edit out the cut scenes from film studio--and the film studio itself-- alot more inuendo in that then a car rocking-- if you really want me to, I'll post a clip of it--but don't tell your mom where you got it... :dopey: :dopey:
 
If you really want. I don't care really, but that's up to you. My mum wouldn't really care anyway, she'd just say "Typical." :lol:

And I still can't figure out what the hell the Aussie authorites were thinking about when they decided to allow the game to be sold in the country but removed the sex with hookers thing. Oh, I see, it's okay to run over people in a tank, to put a bomb in a car and explode it in rush hour traffic, to snipe the heads of innocent civilians, to take an assault helicopter and gun down sunbathers on the beach, to slaughter disco dancers with a minigun etc. etc. BUT YOU CAN'T HAVE SEX WITH A PROSTITUTE! Oh no that would be awful. And you can kill the prostitute as well! We can't have that. We can have you slaughter the dancers in the night club or the sunbathers on the beach, but we can't have you killing hookers. Oh no. :rolleyes:

Good point!. The other BIG! mistake I think the Aussie govt has made is the no R18 ratings. The problem with this is lil Jonny 15 who is only just! legally aloud to look after himself!, can walk into his local EB games (on the 12th of Nov) buy a copy of GTA SA and do all the Really bad stuff that wont be edited!.
Now he may be influenced buy it all and lack the maturity that an 18 year old may have in determing the morality of what he is witnessing. And thats were the problems could happen that won't! in other countries.
But atleast he'll techinically be less likely to catch an sti from sum dirty girl.:crazy:
 
This whole thing about the prostites is BS, I mean children of 14 are having sex in most 1st world countries nowadays. I really think it's stupid in such a society that has sex readily avalable to anyone. You can look it up on the internet, download it to your mobile phone, see it on a frieken bilboard while walking to the bus station for christs sake.

Also as Spuds said the Film Studio missions have more sexual inuendo than a prostitute. I was almost embarassed playing those missions in front of my dad, lol.

I agree, guns should be illegal. period. It's just easier/safer that way... now, I do not think this game should be accessible to kids at all! I don't know what parents are thinking allowing their kids to play GTA... The game is rated M for a reason. Not supposed to be sold to anybody except 18+ age group.

Over here, M means it's "Recommended for Mature Audiences (15 and Over)". I believe the game is MA here, meaning it's "Restricted to Mature Audiences (15 and Over)". They don't allow 18+ here for games, as R32GTST/M mentioned.

Guns are illegal here, so I really don't have much input on that issue.
 
With the vastness of SA im betting you Aussies won't even notice the bits that have been cut out, there will be soo! much more to occupy your time in SA.
 
Exactly my point. There's so much to do, that a minute thing like sex with prostitutes, or a bit of blood, wouldn't phase me at all if it was cut.
 
Yes but it would be dissapointing for the gore to be edited out, I mean this is a game designed for adult (or at least mature) audiences. You wouldn't take a kid to a movie that had excessive blood and gore (if you had any sense) and parents shouldn't buy a game for there kid that has excessive blood and gore.

If you think a child shouldn't see it on a movie screen why give them the means to DO it on a TV screen.
 
Yeah, I guess you're right. Still, I'm not saying that I don't want it, I'm just sayign it wouldn't overly phase me if it wasn't in. But Gore Mode being out would be a real disappointment...again.
