Rolling Start and Gear shift/Acceleration problem

Since yesterday, I am having a strange problem. When I was online racing in Daytona. Under Rolling start or Rolling x2 start, my autothrottle in my car does not engage.... meaning, it does not shift higher than gear 2. I have to race in manual mode.

This is not controller issue. I have two controllers and both behave the same way. Its happening when I log in my multiple accounts. So it cannot be save file corruption.

When I am on grid start, it seems ok.

Everything seems fine in Spec A. But when I am online I am having this issue

Any idea why this happening?

Oh, this has been heard before. No reason for it actually happening, just some kind of glitch after the update.
 
I hope it will be fixed. Wish I was not in a hurry/impatient.

I deleted the game file and I am doing a reinstall. Thinking that would fix it...but it didn't.

But I have saved all my data game saves in USB drives for all the three accounts. Almost all of them are in lvl 30-38/40

Yeah, online rolling starts have a bug since the most recent update. If you pause and unpause during the 3 2 1 countdown before you gain control of the car, it will fix it for that race. Well, it fixes a similar issue the update brought rolling starts, so it should work for this too. The similar issue is that you won't be able to accelerate past a certain speed.

Dang! There was nothing on the web. I googled for this and couldn't get a hit so I think it was only on my PS3 system. Thats why I started this thread.

I lost all my replays due to the reinstall of GT5. Oh well! I am glad its not my HD failure or something, :)
