I just started on the Rome endurance race and noticed that there was not a set number of laps. it just shows lap 1 in stead of lap 1/--. Is this a glitch or does the race end after 2 hours?? I don't want to continue if the lap counter is going to keep going and going cause of a glitch.

its just 2 hrs. if u have hard tires and a decent car, you will win with ease. u will be laps ahead of the competition.

Yep. Most boring two hours ever...

'Xcept for the time I decided to sit in a chair for two hours, see if anything gave. Nothing did. Was boring.

:D :D :D

biggest waste of time was when i did tokyo rt 246 and got a toyota gtone road car (which i already one 2-3 times before).

If you are far ahead of the field then stop your car right before the finish line, then when its 2 hours, go across the finish line in 1st place. :p

Yeah I've found you only need to do about 74 laps to win, which on a pretty good car leaves you about 20 minutes remaining. So you can just park your car by the finish line and go do something else. The race won't actually end until you do your last lap, so even if it is at 2 hours, 20 minutes or such, it will wait for you to cross that line, with your 40 minute last lap :)

:rotfl:

I will have to remember that. It may come in handy later. Anyway, I have all the endurance races besides the Super Speedway left to do. Thanks for the ideas though

That race aint exactly boring for me. I usually take cars that have no mileage on them and take them for a test drive there. Thats only for now til I win that damn Zonda Race Car.

I don't mind enduro it certainly lets you get to no a track inside out when your doing 50+ Laps...

Plus Lappin the other cars is pretty cool to...:car::gcar:

Rome Circuit....
Ahhh the best endurance race for a game of Road Cone football(soccer). Start driving the cones around the track to see how far you can get it.

Keeps you awake.

The endurance races do tend to help out learning a track.

just 2 hrs of pure racing my son thats why its called rome 2hrs

A 2 Hour Endurance is a 2 Hour Endurance. This is how exactly every endurance race should be on GT3, like the real ones. It is a little boring, but u get good money and a car that u can keep or sell for more money.

Yes boring. Very boring. I finished it this morning. And I won the stupid Zonda Race Car. I already have one so that was a waste. But it moved my percentage up. I'm at 98.8% now. And I did play with the cones. Got a few to do a whole lap. Now I have to do trial mountain, roadster, and tokyo.

yah, but there is no way to tell how many laps you are ahead of the competition. are u sure 74 is enough?

^-- Whenever you pass a time marker, it will tell you how many laps ahead you are. If you really want to be safe, just count how many times you lap the lead car, then while resting, count how many times it passes you.

my games doesnt tell me how many laps i am ahead, every time i pass a sector. i live in usa, and i guess u do to, by your sig.

...at least im pretty sure it doesnt.

If I am correct, the game tells u the difference of laps when the car that is behind u, pass a certain checkpoint. If u are ahead, then the time displays when the other car touches it. If u are behind, when u touch the checkpoint, the time appears.

i havent done an endurance race in a while. ive been rocking those 20laps x 10 races series in professional.

the last endurance race i did was the r246, where i wasted 2hrs gettina a toyota gtone road car (which i already won twice).

its irritating to go through a 2hr long race and win a supra for it and trust me it has happened to me  "curse curse curse"

I do all my endurances (except the ones for normal cars only) w/ an f1 car. It makes the endurance race alot shorter

And, presumably, the time-limit endurance races...

I am glad to see that is normal then.....I love doing that myself :D

you need two thing to win th super speedway easily, tape and the escudo, tape the x down and tilt the analog to the left a little, come back 55 mins later and you will be done

that's what i did:p

You can get these cars on the Rome enduro race-

Gillet Vertigo Race Car

fwiw, i heard you tilt the analog to the right a little, as backwards as that seems. it keeps you bouncing off the wall on the straights and hugging the wall on the turns. if you tilt the stick to the left you might be pitting every lap.

fwiw? Do you mean FYI? ;)

BTW, that's also what I've heard... when tilted to the left, the car can find itself in the grass a lot (at SuperSpeedway), or, as stated, in the pits...
