Well I for one like the rome enduro, just get a car thats so so and dont pit for a while I try to see how many laps I can do without pitting, and the AI drivers pit so much that even in a totally crappy car you can still catch up and win.

I haven't done any of the Enduros yet. I think I'll give this one, as all the cars you can win are pretty decent (plus I need a Zonda Race car, and I need an F1, so either would be a great car to win). I can't wait till the weekend so that I can spend 2 hours driving round the Rome Circuit! Ohh well, its got to be done I suppose, and anything has got to be more exciting than the Test Course ;)

you need two thing to win th super speedway easily, tape and the escudo, tape the x down and tilt the analog to the left a little, come back 55 mins later and you will be done

that's what i did:p

here is an easeir way ive heard to do it. set the right analog stick as the accelerator. make it so that when the right analog stick is pointed left, the car will accelerate. then just get a rubber band and make both analog sticks point inward.

if u have a car with a lot of horsepower (escudo), it will just ride the wall the whole race. u will still be faster that the other cars, even though u are riding the wall.

this is actually what i did but i takes to much time to explain that you have to go to controls and change the accel button to the right analog and blah blah blah, that's why i said i taped it.

I'm actually doing the race right now, is like the 10th time i'm doing that race trying to get that damn F1 car

Yeah I've heard this trick before but it never works for me. The
"rubber band trick" as they call it makes my car spin out and stop pointed towards the wall. I have to do the whole race myself or I will be laps behind the AI.

ive only done it once, but it worked fine for me. easy money. i used the escudo

works great for me, i usually get atleast +22 laps on the leader

BTW in rome does it matter how many laps you do?

is rome a 2hr? then nope. once 2 hrs is up, the race is over. you do have to complete the lap...for example, if the clock turns 2hrs in the middle of a lap, the race is over when u cross the finish line.

thanx for telling me i'm at 65 min right now...man i still got a long way

i'm the happies man on earth right now, i just finished rome and i got my f688, o my god thath thing handles like a dream, it sticks to the ground, turns so good i go off road every time, i gotta get used to it

I gotta say after 2 hours on rome I definately hate this track now. It was ok before but now I really hate it. Probably never race it again unless it's on GT4.

Yeah I've found you only need to do about 74 laps to win, which on a pretty good car leaves you about 20 minutes remaining. So you can just park your car by the finish line and go do something else. The race won't actually end until you do your last lap, so even if it is at 2 hours, 20 minutes or such, it will wait for you to cross that line, with your 40 minute last lap :)

Yep, 74 laps seems about right. I did the race on Saturday, and the car in second place (the TVR Griffith) only did 73 laps, so 74 should be just enough. And I won the stupid Lancia Delta Rally Car!!!

I was really hoping for the Zonda Race car, or the F1.
