ok rypien , the results for the mrs qualifying for the final race are up so i can post my new time in the arcade 787b :D

new best time = 59.438  i reckon there is still 2/10 ths left on this track , so i'll be pushing it in my spare time ;) but please update the leaderboard accordingly for now , cheers ! laters man

Just updated the leaderboard ;)

I've been fiddling with my fully modded RX7LM but have not been able to catch my old ghost (but can feel it comming  ).

Good to see people still improving their times, and enjoying these 'cyber-rotas' in all of thier glory. Some interest in another track ..... mmmm .....

I've really been wanting to run some rotaries at thier home 'Tokyo', but as this track is not in GT2 then this is not an option. I'd like to include GT1, but have not really given it much thought as yet (grand valley perhaps?). I'd also be interested to hear your comments for running a seperate 'hybrid' class using modified rotary engines. With the advent of GT3 hybrids, i'm sure some of the old GT1/GT2 hybrid builders would be keen for a bit of a showdown?

Anyways, lets throw around some ideas and see what happens.

I've got some 'realistic' hybrids for GT2. Most of them run similar times as the RE - Amemiya model and are made to GT500 and GT300 specs. I think that i've got these -

600hp 20B engined Race Bodied Supra

500hp 20B engined Race Bodied MX5

800hp 20B engined Race Bodied Skyline GTR

and its not a rotary as such but one hell of a drive -

600hp V10 engined Race Bodied InfiniIII RX7

Don't have access to GT3 hybrids, but i'd hope that a couple of the guys who have hybrid capabilities would have a run or two.

ha ha thats funny mate  looks like rypien has helped himself to your lap :p :D ojk he'll update when he's back on ! I THINK !! :( :p LOL

Sorry Talentless  :D i must have had a few beers when i last updated :p

Have been doing some laps in my fully modded RX7 (979hp) and my 600hp RX7 (oil change only), and have improved my times so i thought that i'd dig up this thread and post em here

My 979hp RX7 has undergone a revamp and now feels like a much better car, and i hope to improve my time in my next track session at Midfield (whenever that will be  )

After a successful RX7 session i decided to hit the track with my trusty 787B (964hp model). I already had a 'club 55' membership but i wanted to improve my PB a little, so i set about reworking the settings a little bit and managed to shave a small amount of time of my previous best. New time - 55.583 :D

Nice. Using your settings I was able to get a time of 1'58.193 with the RX-7. Maybe I'll go try out the 787B if I can find some settings for it, as I'm not too good at tuning.

Whoa!! I like your settings! I just ran a 55.976 after 2 laps! Very nice! Now if I could just manage to shave off a second off that time......

What a great day! First, at around 2am this morning, I broke into the "55 CLUB". Then later this morning I went with my mate to test-drive Supras - he bought a 3.0 twin-turbo with targa top! :D

I'll keep trying to bring my time down. The only changes I made were a further reduction of 1mm to the rear ride height, and bringing the brake balance from 22/16 to 18/19 (don't ask me why, but sometimes you just have to experiment!).
Making these adjustments I've now been able to attain a time of 55. 470. Still need to find 4 tenths of a second though, and I don't really know how I'll be able to do that. Guess I'll get started on trying to get the stock 787B under a minute. No settings involved here so I don't have to worry about that. Thumb is cramped though ;)

You sure came to grips with the RX7 and 787B very quickly FuryX21.

Talentless ...... mmmmm ...... reline is high and torque is heaps. :p ;)

i guess being an aussie you knew webber would do well, so an answer that makes sense is hard to come up with due to the anticipation and excitement, that it Rypien??
