I did the race about 3 times. Im sorry to say Im a little slower than the times you guys posted. Im running in the 4'56's. I only did it 3 times but it is really annoying, and when a race is annoying I dont like to do it over and over. I like Seattle but it isnt always my specialty, probably because I dont do it alot (if at all). I personally like the Mitsu FTO. You have to remember you need to treat FF alot differently than other drivetrains..........Screw it, just bend the driver of the Camaro over and in the middle of the street of Seattle and I'll run the Integra up his ass, that way we can get rid of both of them at once! :lol:

I have finished with this race (probably because I'm currently behind bars for shooting the drivers of the Camaro, Vertigo and GT40. The damn GT-One driver managed to run away :irked:

On a serious note now :p ...damn this is a hard race! The frustration has finally got to me and I cannot run it anymore. The best I can come up with that is relatively clean can be found below...I dont think that they are 100% clean (you be the judge ;) ) but this is all you are gonna get from me on this one!

It's actually qite a good race Rob...as long as you don't want to push the car to its limits with those A.I. around you. I still enjoyed it mate.

I've gotta head of soon but....anyone got another race to try out? I've got to spend a bit of time over the next day or so concentrating on my race 7 efforts for TORC, but I'd be up for a new race soon, what are your thoughts?

Have you loaded my replay into the "analyzer" yet. That will give you information on what I'm doing as far as braking and accelerating in a turn.
I mentioned earlier in this thread that I am using only about half throttle while in a turn. And keeping half throttle until I have gotten my car straightened out. Then, full throttle. When braking, I usually brake the hardest that I can while still going in a straight line. Then, it's off the brakes and right into the turn. In turns where braking in a straight line is more difficult to do because of how the track is layed out, I will use about 50-75% braking power. That will keep the car from locking up and understeering. If I notice that the car is still understeering, I will let of the brakes completely as well as totally off the accelerator.

Weren't you the one that wanted everyone to run a challenge in a FF car anyway. With that said, you can't back out of this challenge now. The taste of your own medicine can be quite bitter cant it! :lol: :D

I was using yours. And there is no way in Hell I can use the analog of buttons with a quarter inch of movement unless you mean throttle revving. Maybe you can regulate 50% braking for more than half a second but I cannot. The only way I can maintain constant low-mid throttle is with the sticks, but the sticks have a steering problem.

I never suggested we not run ff cars, but remember that this is not an ff car, it is a beast that belongs in the Hudson.

The car simply will not handle right. I have your free run replay (der showed how to get it successfuly) and i watch your car and the braking and throttle, my car will not respond even remotely close. Your slid in and slowed down at an opportune time, mine either will not slide, turn or anything else, or it will slow several yards too early.

I tried and tried, and tried, but I can stand it no longer. The steering locks if I lift throttle, if I engange it, if I upshift, if I blink, breathe and burp. It is an utter piece of crap. Before I make myself sicker than I already feel, I have sold this God damn worthless piece of **** and will never participate an any standard rules race with this car again. Hopefully whoever has it is burning it. I'll have to go through a few races to get the Clio as I'm low on credits.

Nothing personal, Boom, but I hate that car.
