here is the setup ive got atm:

d.f .55/.47 (had the front lower in free run bit picked up understeer in the race from the draft of the other cars so had to put it up some)
gearing (stock except for auto & individual changes)

final 4.075
auto 25
ran a 1:21.9 in free run
have got a best (clean) race time of a 7.02.***
lap 1 1:30.*** then ran high 22s & low 23s for the rest of the race

run a sub 7:00.000 time tonight, the only thing that stopped it being a clean race was the fact I went of the road on the corner after T3, just b4 the chicane
in that race the AI where as follows:
Lister storm
Jag XJ220
Denso supra
Tickford falcon
and the Merc race car
sat behind the storm most of the race drafting him everywhere just watch out for the last lap as all the cars slowed up for some reason, was on and of the throttle most of the lap
fastest lap was a 1:21.5**
setup works ok now with the extra D.F on the front
changed the final drive to 3.925 to counter bouncing of the limiter on the front straight

cut a 1:21.2** in free run after a modified my setup
had every race ruined either by going off track or having the sheep (main culprits XR8 & Storm) running me off the road, ramming me or get in front and then move into my path and then brake!

Umm, I'm giving this one a go at the moment, but I just don't see that car running a 1'21. Am I using the wrong Spoon? Should I be using the soup Spoon? (I know, that was horrible. )
But really, I'm doggin that car and I'm pulling only 1'25's as best efforts so far.
I'm running the Spoon Race Car (the yellow and blue one) at around 355 HP, is this correct?
With what particular gear setup?
So is the setup (susp) any good then?

Here's Clintons Replay of his best CLEAN race attempt so far...he tells me he has run sub 7:00's so you can expect an improvement from him soon I expect.
go into gears and push the final gear all the way to the top which is 5.499 i think ?
then move auto setting down to 18 ...
then move the final gear back down to 4.000
then move other gears and your done , note though as soon as you move the auto again you gotta redo this again
I see Rons had some fun while I was crashed on the couch
So the car is all set up nice for me I take it Ok I'll try some races today , forget free run I don't have time for that now. I'll just have to take Rons set up straight to race mode some attempts hopefully today be back later with some times

am running faster now thanks to the gearbox setup
couldnt get it at first, called drew then realised my mistake, took the reverse gear for first when i was writing it down
can anybody say D!@#$%!d?
have not run a clean race yet but dont worry I will post a time unlike a certain somebody

best I done yesterday was a 6'50.344 not got laps written down yet ..
Had a few tries this morning and didn't manage a full race before having to go out shopping, but did manage a 1'27.9 lap 1 and a fast lap in race of 1'19.4 .
Tomorrow morning I will work at it as much as I can before deadline, hopefully get a mid 45 well that's my aim anyway
