route x 1/4 speed test question

Hi Guys,

for those of you with the speed test DLC, I wanted to ask a quick question about the 1/4 timings. From videos I have seen it seems after the 3,2,1 countdown the timer for the 1/4 mile starts.

What I want to know can you sit at the start line after the countdown, and try perfect your launch rpm before starting the 1/4 mile timed run, or does the timer for the 1/4 start soon as the countdown finishes.

no you can't and it kinda stinks cause you can't even see the tach until last second so you gotta try to go by sound.

hopefully they'll change this in an update and add online 1/4 racing, right now I've had to type in a start time for exampl 1:30 and everyone lines up and starts dragging dead on... its loads of fun but would be nice the option for actual drag racing.

what i do is just red line it and go lol i know it kinda bad but what can you do

A online drag racing series with regulations is all I ever want.. and a drift point race as well but that's for another thread

Step 1: Straight track with distance markings
Step 2: Enable a working tree that will be fair to those of all countries and connection speeds.
Step 3: Make drag tuning parts available in tuning shop.
Step 4: Make it an official online event with regulations.


So technically, real drag racing is 3 DLC's away
