Several times on different tracks with different cars I have noticed a problem where the RPMs stop increasing. This happens most often in 3rd or 4th gear and last time it happened it lasted the entire long straight near the end of the Ring.
Down shifting and then up shifting almost immediately sometimes fixes the problem. Other times it looks like it just takes some time before things are back to normal.
Has anyone else noticed this problem? Or is it some "punishment" for an infraction of some type.
