In all seriousness, the RSeat crew will work with you to make sure they ship you a rig that will work for you. When/if I plan on getting a new rig, it will be a (likely modified, longer wheel plate and one more pedal hole for more length) N1 👍

Jerome, thank you and that is fantastic to know.

You guys were talking about the customization earlier in your thread; I was even thinking if need be I'd try and put 80/20 extensions on for my Fanatec V2 pedals, if need be. However, if rseat can help...sweet!!

Please forgive me for rehashing if I come back and ask you guys questions that may have already been answered. I just want to be sure.

I will most likely put M8 casters on as I really need to put this thing in the storage area when my little girl is downstairs playing. it may be more of a cosmetic thing, but it is a must as I may be putting this thing in and out of the main basement daily.

I'll likely need to do something similar, not for my 2yr. old but so I can sit in my office chair to play other PS4 games. Caster, or maybe some sort of furniture sliders.

Here the latest, still many accessories to add. Planning on building PC soon.

BTW, Regnar, how is your black powder coating holding up?

I am leaning towards the black, but I am concerned about how the adjustments might mark up or show on the powder coating.

Jerome, thank you very much for your advice. Rseat was very helpful during an online chat with them yesterday, and yes, they would add the extension on the pedal deck (as you referenced) if and when I order.

It's holding up well, the only area that has any scratches is at the wheel mount bracket, that's was caused from mounting the Clubsport onto it, the whole thing was really a two person job, I did it all by myself, having two people would avoid things such as scratches.

Do you think any further adjustment would reveal scratches?

Don't get me wrong, the silver would obviously scratch, as well, just may not show as much.

The thing is your black rig just looks awesome!!

@regnar Does the shifter/handbrake arm just mount to the side of the seat bracket with nuts and bolts? I've got an old school rSeat EVO v3 and I want to add a shifter/handbrake and for $129, this would be perfect.

Yes, it bolts to the seat, there is a bracket that bolts to the side of the seat and the arm bolts to that with the ability to adjust.

Great job Reg! How long did it take to build? Did you have any difficulties? MY N1 has arrived and the boxes are HUGE! I ordered the silver version with alacantara seat + triple screen stand.

BTW, regarding TVs and input lag - the input lag is generally the same for monitors too. The often quoted values of 2ms, for example, refer to grey-to-grey change, not input lag. That's never given - actually not really measured - by monitor manufacturers. I have three Samsung 4k KU6400 40" TVs for this rig and I tested one in game made with Call of Duty. No lag I could detect at all.

It took about three hours, if I had no boxes to break down and didn't have to unwrap each part it would of been about a hour. The only issue I had was with the TV stand, the holes for adjustable height where drilled on the wrong side of the leg, so no ability to adjust height, but the height that it sits at is perfect.

Hi Peeps,

I just purchased an N1 RSEAT for my PS4 But I really need some help and direction as to which one to buy as I've read elsewhere that they are hard to acquire in Australia and I'm also not sure which model to buy.

Does anyone here have any experience?

Cheers...

GTspecR, hi man. N1 owner here and no regrets. If you've decided that the price is acceptable then it is a great future proof rig. I don't think you can go wrong with either the N1 or the, I believe, RS1. N1 lets you spread things out more when you add accessories, but the RS looks easier to get into, is a little cheaper and a little smaller footprint. The only problem I had when the N1 arrived, other than some minor denting which won't effect this monster at all, was some difficulty in putting in the shifter mount. I really, really had to force it and mark it up a bit, but once I was up and running I couldn't be happier. Additionally and there is no endorsement for this by Rseat, but I also put mine on casters and I'll tell you the ability to wheel my rig from storage to in front of the tv in the basement has really been a great benefit to me and my family so they don't have to see it out all the time and I don't have to "drag it"...to me it would be fine if it were out because it is beautiful. I like the look of the Sparco rig, too, but I don't know much about it.

Oh, one more thing, I was a much bigger guy when I bought this thing (270 lbs) and it still fit me! I've lost more than 40 pounds so now it is like a luxury car for me!

I hope this helped, my friend! Anymore questions please feel free.
