Not really just drift all the way around nurb as fast as I could not a hard track to drift is fun but time consuming.
 
Definity, after drifting with RSM on that track I fell in love with it. So many varieties of corners and lines to take, including the banked corners. So much fun and nice to have a break from the overly-used Tsukuba Circuit.

Ya'll have no insight. Only reason I said traction control was the tire choice :l If it was sports or racing yea, I would turn it to 0, but it be comforts! Be funny trying to grip with them on 0 traction though. . .

Even on comfort hards, traction control is always 0. :lol:

I have grip raced comfort hards already, and i tell you, it is not that fun, it is a pain! And hard.

I grip in my FRS with CS an TC on 0. Waaay more fun!
 
Seriously? I can't even keep my silvia straight on comfort softs... Always wants to go sideways...

Ease on the throttle. Its about smooth exits.
 
Makes sense... Good thing I can regulate the throttle with the "X" button huh? lol
 
It is about traction feeling, and not pressing a button like a maniac. I don't know if you already use it like this, but set brakes to L2 and accelerator to R2. It really helps, takes a time to get used, but the control is more accurate.

Edit: X button still have pressure sensivity.

I would do the L2 R2 thing but, I've drifted and played with my setup that I couldn't do anything with it. Had a guy I was driftin gwith say "Dude, why you drift with the d-pad? The analog makes it a little smoother" My response was "I'll show you why" Try tandeming? I couldn't even drift solo with it. I've gotten used to the pressure sensitivity thing for the x button, My silvia just happens to kicked out a bunch xD I'm sure I could do it at high speed though, those corners are easy

Sure! I got great confidence when I'm drifting my silvia with d-pad, how bout you? I'm sure you got confidence no matter what your doing :p you seem like that kind of person, all odds could be against you and still you have the "I can do it: additude :)

Actually, no, i have lots to learn, to be honest. But, if you let me give you a tip, try to keep comments like: i kicked a bunch, my Silvia this, my Z that, i can do it at full speed, to yourself. Most times, comments like that are taken as arrogance.

And it is, attitude. ;) lol
 
Eh, I'd rather belittle myself before I talk trash about myself :p and I do really. Yea, like most people, I'll do something I think is completely epic and boost a little, but who doesn't form time to time? When I'm drifting with people, I'll say I can't do something very well and tell them we can work on it together and such, put myself in their shoes and help them through it :P this may sound like im super cocky, but i'm really not. If you get to know me you'll find I am actually an OK kind of guy :P

lol back on topic, sorry to hear that Klutchy, Hope you get it back soon, I definitly know what it's like to get it taken away... Once I was playing and I was almost done with a 9 hour race then suddenly my dad came in with report card and unplugged it about 4 turns from the finish line... Then he gave it back saying I better try harder. I raged when he said this.
