Hi I am new here and pretty new to GT3. I have had the game since release but just started playing it a lot about a week ago.

Well anyway I would like to know how to make my RUF CTR2 to handle as close to a Lancer as possible. I used my lancer for almost all of beginner and some amatuer but I have many more cars now but I liked how that car handled. It is fully upgraded and everything I have medium and superslick tires but can buy others if necssary.

Also I could use some help with the Viper Team Oreca getting it to accelerate faster and turn better.

Welcome to GTP, Amigo.

Try the Settings and Tunings board as well. I've never driven one in the game, but I'm familiar with the dynamics or rear engine cars.

The CTR2 is going to oversteer because much of its mass is concentrated at the rear end. Therefore you want to make it understeer a bit so the handling is more neutral. Try stiffening up the front suspension.

Start by putting the front stabilizers full stiff and reducing the rear stabilizers to half. If that's not enough, stiffen the front shocks a bit.

Its something you will have to get used to.
All cars have different handling dynamics and you the driver will have to adjust to them just as in real life.
There is no way to tune the car to handle like the Lancer and will probably be disappointed in the CTR.
Like NeonDuke said, play with the suspension components of the car and tune from there. Check the Settings and Tuning section of the site and that will help much.
Good luck and dont get stuck just using one car only. Its good to get a feel for the different drive such ad all wheel drive, front drive, rear drive, midengine and so on.

Welcome to GT Planet Amigo 3

Neon_Duke is spot on as usual :bullseye: , that :ruf: GTR2 will never handle like a :mitsu: Lancer but you can improve Oversteer problems by adjusting settings...

Where you from AmigoThree :earth:, will you be getting GT Concept tommorrow? :D

Thanks anyways guys. I was just figuring there might be a way because they are both 4wd but I don't really know a whole lot about cars.

And I am from the US so I wont be getting GT concept tomarrow.
