Does anyone elso out there think that the RUF RGT is a much better racer than the CTR2?

I have both cars, and up untill now, have found on way of making the CTR2 perform better than the RGT.

I have finely tweaked the RGT, and the acceleration is incredible, compared to the CTR2's relatively sluggish pick-up speed.

As i have said before, the RGT rules, and it is my all time favourite race car, try it out folks, you WILL be amazed :p :p :D

The CTR2 is what I have and I am keepin' it. That is my car that speeds up good and looks better, even though the RGT resembles a Porsche Carera.

The RGT is a Carrera  , albeit a heavily modified one.

BTW, no offense, but how can one like either one of these cars? Their stock settings are just awful... They feel like boats, and steering control is nil. Do Porsches drive like that in real life?

The RUF RGT has a lil' of braking problem, and a CTR2 stock sucks in handling, it barely turns.

BTW, I dont give anything about Porsche's...

Although the stock settings are slightly less-than-desirable, think about the acceleration, oh won't somebody PLEEEEAASSEE think about the acceleration. It takes off a treat, with minor adjustments to the spoilers, if really does take, off. :D ALthough it may not handle like a porsche, it takes off like one. YO Troy, yes the RGT is good. Ok folks, i get the picture, the RGT is not in popular opinion, but i learnt how to drive in that car, so it feels easier. I can't afford nething else yet....... :( :(

Um, well, the real test of a great car is not necessarily its straight-line performance, but its ability to go through a track, necessating ideal handling...

You are right guys, both of those cars handle like crap. The 3400S of what resembles a Porsche Boxster should be better but the speed is somewhat uncomparable even when it's fully modded.

I like the RGT but to learn how to drive in that car is a bad idea, considering its the only Rear engined Rear wheel drive car, Id say it would be better to learn how to drive by doing the licence tests cuz it gives you a more varied lot of cars FF FR MR 4WD. Although the RGT is awesome when you tune it to 1000bhp. Mind you the RUF`s in GT3 were a dissapointment, I prefered the RUF`s in GT2 like the Yellowbird (The classic 911 shape 😈 )

I like all the cars in the game (well, i don't really like the Formula 1 cars) and one of my favorites is my RUF CTR2.

Why you ask?
Because over here in NZ, there's this guy called "Racing" Ray Williams and his race car is a 700 hp, 4wd (i think), turbocharged Porsche Carrera (or some other one) , and my RUF CTR2 is so identical to his real-life race car, that it's not even funny.

My CTR2 has 702 hp seems to handle the same as Rays' car and also sounds a heck of a lot like it too. And they have the same sort of body too. (The colours are a different story)

Therefore the CTR2 is my fave RUF.

The RGT kicks ass. It out accells my Escudo in the 400m. The Escudo isn't currently set up for best 400m, but it's still pretty damn fast.

I used to like the CTR2, but that was before i drove the RGT!:p

I used a moded and slightly tuned CTR2 for the Boxer races in Pro, and hated the car. I won the RGT though, and haven't driven it. No doubt I will someday, but I don't think much of any of the Porsche/RUF's that I've driven so far.

it seems like we have mixed opinion about this car, although i must say i stick to my original opinion of the RGT. Quality car. Looks peachy in light grey with phat gold Alloys on the beast. ps anyone got ne settings that beef it up a bit? :thatsodd:

Hmm, thanks for the settings, Chris!:D

I'll make sure to try those out next time I drive the RGT!:p
