Hey Chris

How about ABS are we allowed to run with it set at 1 or off ? actually this should apply to all driver assist I dont use them other then ABS set at 1.
So what is your rule on driver assists?

Thanks Doug

UPDATE

I have spoken to several GT5 interns regarding the cars setup, and there is no 100% way to see if anyone is cheating.

Tyres and Break settings : Tyre and Break settings can be seen in replay mode with FULL HUD and the RA Menu turned on

As to engine tune, body tune (decreasing the cars weight) there is still no way to prove this.

I dont know why, but in GT4 we were able to use the arcade cars as completely stock and not modifying them!

As to this point i am not 100% sure if this competition can be continued, since the price that can be won has a certain $ value, perhaps I and all the competitors will have to wait until PD releases the TIME TRIAL SETUP (as we had in GT5P)

I will keep everyone up to date as soon as i know more info!!!

I just would like to say, that this competition will be run eventually 100% sure and the winner will get his Kart Racing wheel, signed by me, 100% sure!

Thanks

Chris

Just got my hands on one, if this takes place, I'm in.

What about using the online mode to be sure everyone uses the stock RUF ?

Or filming the car settings before the replay to show no upgrade has been bought ?

WTF ! i did 9:00 with a massive spin at the end

it's impossible to control this car with this tires !

Why don't you run the contest the other way. Let people mod their cars as much as possible and run what ever settings / tires etc they feel like. Its not like this car handles well when you give it 700 hp and race tires!! (it just about burns up a set of race softs in one lap!!) You still need to be a bit of a god to keep it on the track for a whole lap.

Then you don't need to police any rules.

This. I'm not entering this but i'm just saying that this would be a good thing.
