Inspired by LeMons, banger rallies and Shuffle racing…

…on tarmac, dirt and snow…original, world, city and custom tracks…short and long races…350PP, comfort medium tyres…for that extra not-so-special set of wheels gathering dust in your garage…

Any road car of (originally!) 360PP or less. Tuning restricted to power and weight only - all other components are stock. Comfort medium, dirt and snow tyres. The more interesting/strange/unusual/just-plain-bland/downright-nondescript, the better!

Interested? Pop in your PSN, with any/all suitable cars you have, and expect a PSN add from me!

PS. This..."club"...is particularly intended for custom-made tracks. If you have anything interesting, and suitable for cars of this performance level, please give mention!

possibly interested. I'll see what I can do after I finish moving. don't want to commit to anything and not be able to show up.

regarding the tuning, am i correct in interpreting that to mean that things like suspension are illegal?

Interested in this. PSN is JoeOfTheFire.

A quick look through my garage found a few potential cars I could use, and like sleeves345, I'm probably right in guessing that we're not allowed to use anything other than stock parts for the transmission, drivetrain, and suspension.

That's right, the idea is to make the cars reach 350PP with the minimum of modifications. Of course, there's no enforcing that kid of regulation, but the cars should retain their original handling characteristics. In any case, tuned suspension's not going to make much difference at such a low PP level. If anything, it might dilute the experience in a way...

My own cars are those in the above photos:
Silvia S13 Q's
Sirion 2WD
Golf GTI
Bluebird
Civic
Swift Sport
PAO
iB (?)

As for days and times, it'll be evenings BST (6pm onwards), most likely Monday and Wednesday, also at the weekends. Tomorrow evening, definitely.

No need for any long-term commitment here, it's not a championship, but a series of single races, just for fun. At some point, I'd like to run a mini-enduro of 1 - 1 1/2 hours, perhaps with teams as well.

And microphones enabled!

I've prepared 2 cars to the requirements, so far. I guess I'll use this post to list cars that I have prepared for use, starting with those 2. I'm also tempted to paint one or two of my cars in gold chrome, as I've got 3 without knowing I did. (I normally paint everything in a bright red...because I like red >_>).

EDIT: The way things are going so far, I may end up with a list of 60s cars.
EDIT: Nope.

My car list:

Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale '63
Isuzu 117COUPE '68
Mazda 110S (L10A) ' 67
Toyota VITZ RS 1.5 '07
Citroen C3 1.6 '02
Mercedes-Benz A 160 Avantgarde '98

Okay, this evening I'll log on at around half 7 to 8 (Doctor Who 6:45).
Doctor Who is at 6:40. :sly:

Depending on family-related stuff, I might not be able to get on until a bit later than 8, or not at all tonight, I don't know yet.

That's good to hear, if my family stuff doesn't get in the way tonight, I'll be in the room most of the night. Though I'll have to leave for just under an hour just before 9 (assuming I'm on before then), as I'm in a 25 lap HP restricted NASCAR league race at Laguna Seca.

I'll join you tonight if you want to add me (PSN: Dougill)

Now I just need to find a car...

Will be back at something like 10:45pm, I'm now practicing and qualifying for that Laguna Seca race at 10pm.

Apologies, got disconnected...but it might just as well have been, as I had to shoot off minutes afterward!
