Hi all,

I am thinking of getting a second-hand cheap-as-chips PS2 to give Richard Burns a go, but the only screen I have is a modern PC monitor with only the PC-type "D" monitor input and a DVI-D input. Is there a cheap way of connecting a PS2 to that, does anyone know? And before anyone suggests it - I don't have a PC that works at the moment, escept for my work laptop, which I obviously can't use for gaming!

Any help would be massively appreciated. Cheers

Not that I know of. As far as I know, the PS2 can only connect via scart, composite, and component.

Component cable do your work great and it's cheap this days. But don't connect to your monitor. But cheap old TV instead. I'm sure you can find some sony 29 inch tv used by your neighbor or on some home sells.

PS2 games still looks better on old TV's than on any LCD monitor and TV. For a price of a cable and converter you can buy TV

You could get a simple TV card for your work laptop and plug the PS2 into that but when I did something similar the quality was not great and there was very noticeable lag.
