Today I installed android on my touchpad and so far it is quite nice.
Ok being in alpha 2 means their are bugs(I have had a few crashes) and with me having no android use experience makes it hard, but so far I like the way it auto corrects my grammar by capitalizes "I" and has a predictive spelling above the keyboard.

I will take some pictures as proof that my touchpad has android on it.

Note: This was posted off the touchpad.

I've been running the CM7 build for a bit. I switched over to LauncherPro for my launcher, and have installed a few different keyboards, including a Mandarin one, along with Flash and various apps. The BlueTooth keyboard also works quite well with it.

The biggest issue with the alpha is the Wi-fi goes a little crazy at times, but not a big deal - just toggle it, or worst cast, reboot. WebOS still boots just find as well, though I've not had much need to use it at this point.

Oh, and HD videos seem to work fairly well on the CM7 build, though not perfectly sometimes. Need to see how stable the overclocking is right now, though that isn't a big deal, runs pretty quick if you don't leave too much stuff open.

I didn't know you could do that. Might be an idea to pick one up if that works that well. Hmmm.

Good luck finding one.

I got mine during the touchpad fire sale for $149 for the 32GB version.

If you do find one on the net expect to pay 200%+ more for it.

So about %200 more than what I paid for mine, like he said. Mine was $100 for a 16gb.

Those were the 32gb and yeah still a good markup at 133% but the cheapest 32gb android tablet is still more expensive than that.

Can you switch between the two if you ever needed to or is it reflashing the web os to get back? Was there any issues you had?

And if that one actually sells for $350 I could make quite a profit buying and reselling them up here. There are some people trying to sell the 32gb for 275 and 280 but there are quite a few at 220 and 230 which means they are $200.

I can boot between WebOS and android.

At the boot screen I just use the volume buttons to go up and down and the home button to select.

I answered this in my initial post.

GrayFox, you'd be slightly closer to king if you resized those hilariously large images.

Just buy a Kindle Fire, I'd say it would be less of a headache and trying to flip hacked Touchpad's for profit is going to be a bit silly.

I am not selling the touchpad.

It has been upgraded to a trolling device, now I can troll people who still use webos.

The selling was pointed more towards CMvan.

And for the love of god, resize those images. You claim to be tech savvy and yet have uploaded images that are near 4 megs to show some screen shots... Seriously man, that just makes everyone hate viewing a thread.
