FuelVapor Technologies Inc. (FVT), a Canada-based company that manufacture fuel efficient and eco-friendly automobiles has released the details of its ale model (pronounced as "alay") that is scheduled to roll out in a limited number by 2008. The FuelVapor ale comes with a very unique three-wheeler design (2 in the front, and one in the rear) as well as front wheel drive (FWD) system.

The main highlight if this model are the fuel vapor system and the light weight aerodynamic body, according to FuelVapor Technologies. The ale's 1500 cc engine can run on "fuel vapor" instead of liquid fuel. FuelVapor also said that "the majority of gas engines today run 14.7:1 – (14.7 parts air to 1 part gasoline)" and the fuel vapor system on the ale allows the vehicle to "run on a ratio of over 20:1 without compromising performance."

As a result, the FuelVapor ale provides super low exhaust emissions with 30% reduced in C02, and offers excellent fuel economy. Brad Zimmerman, Head Tech of FuelVapor Technologies has already tested the car and commented: “I drove it hard for 4 solid hours, throwing it into corners, accelerating and braking hard. The car’s performance is spectacular. After all that hard driving, we only went through $10 in gas.”

Meanwhile, check out these brief specs of the FuelVapor ale.

My only question is how bad or good the NOx emissions are, as it's stringent emissions guidelines for this that have killed previous "super-lean" running vehicles.
