i think rz has slightly more hp and some chassis improvements... probably improved stock spring and some more stuff... its basically an improment of the rs... a special model developed for production but was relesed much past its originally planned date... its beasically the next step up for the rx-7
The differences IRL are in the chassis/suspension alone....IRL they both have the same rated top speed and same rated HP..although their TQ #'s differ and I don't see how that could happen..but anyway...The Rz comes stock with factory installed chassis stiffeners and a tighter suspension package...A RS is a Racers FD3S and a RZ is a Race FD3S

look at the rz and the rs the rz got 3 more hp see.... not much but it mazda already squezed alot of p out of this rotary with its turboes.... needed a new rotary which they produced.... someone should take the engine,,, drivetrain... and all and design a new chassis and car around it tho...
