If you look at the Z from the side so that all you can see is the roof line, it's strait off of a 911...

Wow... I've unintentionally created quite a bit of commotion... -> :argue:

Well, anyway, I've gone ahead and won the Z (took a half-dozen tried though! I've already driven it, and it's a decent car, but isn't very flavorful compared to the rotary-driven RX-8, even though the RX-8 may be slower... still though, it'll probably be good for me in the PD championship, which I plan to race in 2night.

Well, while I'm at it, I might as well comment on the looks. Personally, I think both of the cars look good, and I can't honestly choose one over the other. However, the RX-8 is the one I'd choose to buy in a heartbeat, because of the four-door practicallity and the wunderfull rotary engine.

The U.S. isn't expected to get it for at least another year though  , while the 350Z should be coming out sometime soon...

(Footnote: The Mini Cooper just came to the U.S. yesterday! Rejoice! :weird: )

How do you feel about "cheating"? ;)

If you have 2 cards, you can run the series races once through (assuming you get enough points to win the series) and save the game right before you run in the last race (or quit out of it because you have enough points to win without the race). When you win the prize car, trade for it with your game which you've copied to the 2nd card. Save game on card 2, load game on card one, rinse, repeat as necessary. :) In this way, you can acquire all the prize cars from a series race without repeating the series enough times to randomly win them. ;)

You mentioned a car that is associated with the "R" word, and there were opinions varying to mine. The rotary gods would be furious if I did not stand as champion to my next car. :gnasher:

Actually the point was "which one would be better for taking to the PD championship..."

The Z!! It out performs the RX-8.

Oh so that's how it's gonna be! Well, you smell bad! (:

If I was being a normal consumer, I'd probably get a 350Z. But since I'm such a huge rotor nut, I'll be putting my money into an RX-8. Fully loaded WITH the matching baby seat (:

Agreed. :)

Just remember, the point is no longer performance. It is on the top of the 350Z. ;)

Of course it is also on all three apexes of a rotor...

I really don't see what the big deal is with the roof of the 350Z. Personally I like it. And it's aerodynamic as well. It gives tall people plenty of head room in a small car without causing too much extra drag.

I'll be taking one for a test drive when they hit our shores.

As will I, but not to buy one. I just want to see what the hubbub is about. :)

The VW Beetle allows for plenty of headroom without causing too much extra drag too. It doesn't make it attractive though... :2cents:
