S-1 High Speed Ring

I just can't get past this one.

Can someone tell me on which car and settings they managed to win this race ? I have got the Ferrari 599 pretty well tuned for my preferences and I am crushing most of the Super car events on it but this S-1 with all the tuned cars I just can't even get close to the top 3 cars. Tried the GT-R, Lotus 111 Tuned(can't handled that one, need to tune it), Audi R8 and the Z06.

Any tips or car suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
 
I had trouble with Lotus 111R Tuned as well the back stepped out on accel lift off.
Bought Lotus Tuned(not the 111R version) and won race first time.
I will try to tune 111R though seems like a great car.

Had a bit of a play.
Power +9
Ride Height F+R -10
Spring Rate F+R +2
5th Gear 0.825
All driver aids off.
Still not perfect but better a work in progress
 
Before messing with qts I actually had a shot of using the 111r with asm on, easy win just be careful of the other lotus's slipstreaming you on the straight.
 
I play this course online with the Amuse S2000. And it's going great. The Black Ford GT prototype Gran Turismo tuned version is also good.
But perhaps you are asking in regard to having to tone your vehicle down to certain points in event mode, sorry dunno.

seem to remember seeing you on there a day or two ago. I play this track and it's reverse online the most as getting an expert race is hard on other tracks.
 
I'm racing this guy JUN1984JUN alot lately. He is really good.
If he's a member on this board: "hey you suck:)"
I beat him a couple of times and he does this brake thing to slow me down as i approach him. I did got him good a couple of times.
I don't think the Amuse can be beat on this track. I see alot of people trying with wrong cars and they get smoked. Like I said, that black proto Ford GT has a good record too, but the Amuse just smokes. I played late last night and there were still few people online.
I like this track alot, bacause it's fast and short and the design of the track is really great. Such a noob, I don't even know if it is a real track!:dunce:
