Hello, does anyone noticed the glitch in this Audi ? According to the version of the car "quattro" and the 4WD in the description, the car should be four wheel drive. However the car seemed to drive and act life a FF (ex. TT 1.8T)... You can pull the e-brake and burn some rubber like you usually do with FF car and what is more interesting it's impossible to buy the 4WD distribution controller (sorry, I forgot how it's called) :grumpy:. WTF ? Why PD didn't fixed this so far !? Thanks for you help !

Search for ' list of cars with incorrect specifications' and add it to the list.

However in GT5 you can't do the same with the proper quattro, if you pull the e-brake and press the gas the car will stand still revving the engine.

I added this glitch to the list.

I see, so the 1.8T quattro uses the haldex version right ? Which is a FF by a default and engages 4WD only when front loses grip ? I'm curious cause the old S3 starts like a rocket (but maybe the S versions of Audi has the "proper" quattro ?). Correct me if I'm wrong.

Wrong, as stated above the drive goes to the front wheels first and the rear wheels are only engaged when the front wheels slip in the haldex system, the rear diff has a clutch in it and only engages when the car detects loss of traction from the front wheels. This produces better economy in situations where the rear wheels do not need to be driven ie motorway driving and any time the front wheels can cope, it is company wide, all vw/Audi/seat/skoda cars that share this platform use the haldex system. So do some volvos.

The bigger audis use a different system called torsen, this uses worm gears and is mechanical as opposed to electronic, this version is proper full time awd
