S Class 1st race

Can anyone give me any tips on how to complete this race as i have tried everything and i just can't do it. I'm using the Elise 111R as i was told that was the best car to use but i'm still not getting anywhere!

Is that the tuned version of that car?

If not you can use either that, the (motorsport) elise tuned car, the GTR or the clio is fun.

I just made sure the car was as lights as possible, stable at the rear and the gearing sorted for decent punch along the straight.

Thanks mate, i just done it about 10mins ago.

I was using the normal Elise and did'nt realise you could by the tuned version. I was wondering why it was so hard. Passed it first time with the tuned version.
