I have tried most of the S-Class races after the update and I find them all easy now.
I was one of those who was silver in S6 and S8. I never did quite make gold in these 2 events. I was OK with that, because I feel that there should always be a few events that are just plain hard to beat.
But today I beat them both easy.
S6 is kind of a joke now cause you can beat the crap out of the AI cars with no penalties. The only difficult thing is that the F40 overpowers the S3 tires so easy that throttle control has to be perfect. And TCS just kills your speed so much that you just can't use it.
S8 is even worse. I got bronze on my first lap, from a dead stop out of the pits. My second lap was gold by 9/10th of a second. That was the first time I drove the GT06 on the HSR since the update. The "beast" is a fuzzy little puppy now.
S10 is no longer a challenge. I used a Tuned Clio (which only makes 720PP) and took the lead on lap 4, with a Tuned Vette starting up front. I took second at the beginning of lap 2. Seriously. Then I had to chase down that Vette from like 8 seconds back. That would not have been possible before the update. I would not have even tried with a Tuned Vette starting in front.
Let me say that I drive with standard physics. Yes I'm sure it would be more challenging in pro mode. I am comparing apples to apples, standard physics before to standard physics after.
