S license accuired!

Wow, three solid days of going after the S license and beating it (more like 9 hours with two-a-days and all). I was so happy when I got it, as now I just have to get 9 more golds for all of them. On top of that, now I can beat the game 100%. I found the easiest one was a tie with the Laguna Seca or Midfield. Hardest for me was the Cote d' Azur. Well, off to go attempt Polyphony Digital...:)

:odd: The hardest one for me was Laguna with the Viper. In fact, I just checked and that is the only license test I don't have gold in.....I better try that one again.

I just recently got my s-licence also. tough, tough:irked:.
somehow i managed to do the ssr11 and the apricot hill tests in one try.:odd: And even though people say the seattle test was hard, i found it easy. It's the first turn that counts there. But jeez i hated that trial mountain test. i dwelled on it for an hour and a half trying to think what i was doing wrong.:banghead:

My closest finish was unbeleiveable .009 ahead @ ssr5 wet.

Anyway, after basking in my own glory, i proceded with R390 racecar and did "Like the wind" and won the 787B.:D (never experinced it before).I hope to take a stab at the gt-world champ ameteur and win the gt-one roadcar and own the polyphony digital cup.

There, i just told a my gt3 experience for the past 24 hours

Yeah, first thing I did was Like the Wind, just because I wanted something mindless to do while I relaxed after football.

I see...

I'm just wondering why you found the final test so hard, in fact it was a cakewalk to me:rolleyes:. Just set your tranny to manual, and when its in autodrive before you begin just hold the r1 and r2 and it will be sooo easy. Took me like 3 tries to do it. The reason why you should hold it is because the gt-one dosent burn rubber above 3rd gear to therefore to spinouts.

That's OK, but what if you are at a standstill? How are you going to launch off in third gear? You have to learn proper acceleration control. It might be more difficult, but it is something you are going to have to learn to properly race in GT3.

I thought S-4 (Midfield) and S-6 (Laguna Seca) were by far the hardest ones. They're the only tests in the game I thought were as difficult as B-8. I got gold on S-8 on the 2nd try.

If you thought S-8 was hard, you must've been using AT. Go back and try it with MT and don't go below 3rd gear. Even if you're not used to MT, you should be able to beat your gold time easily in 2 or 3 tries.

there all a pain in the ass i spent about 2 hours with each one
cote was hardest i spent about hour and half and was still 4-5 seconds off :banghead:

i f you do the endurence races first you can fly through the S licenses. thats what I did cause i only could do about yhree and i gave up and went back to races. then i decided to do all the endurences(in a week). bUt when i went back to S license I just flu threw.

You and me, both Ving:lol: that was a b!tch

S-2, 4, 5 & 6 each took me a couple hours, but I thought S-1 (Speedster @ Apricot Hill) and S-3 (Miata @ Trial Mountain) were some of the easiest tests in the game. S-1 was the only test I got Gold on the first try, and S-3 only took 2. If you can get gold on B-8, I would think you've got the track down well enough that you just have to hit that corner at the end of the back stretch at the right speed and you'll get gold easily.

Its not thats its hard, its just boring and makes ya wanna sleep lol!
