S License

Well, after much trying, and watching demos, and listening to all you guys (thanks!

), I finally got my S license last night! Hardest ones for me were the GT40 at Seattle II, and the GT-One at Monaco.

The others were a case of getting a clear lap in, as I was hitting the walls too much! Once you've cracked that, just chip away at the corner speeds, getting quicker and quicker as you go. One of the things to bear in mind is that if the ghost is putting you off, don't use it! (This happened to me several times)

To all those of you on the wrong side of the S License struggle, good luck, it's a pretty good feeling when you beat it!

Congratulations!!!! It is a fine moment in any GT3ers life when they get the Super License.

My secret was drifting a little like the demo did. I usually don't drift when I drive and try not to squeal the tyres, but I watched the demo and it did it quite a bit, so I did to. Guess my method is not always the fastest.

Oh, yeah that darn seattle test, made me say lotsa dirty words which wouldn't be printable in this forum! :eek:

but when I finally got that S-license I was jumping all around the house screaming! what a great feeling. and then: It's was just cruising left, so put on those sunglasses :cool:

Well I'm all bronze, apart from a solitary silver in one of the Rally tests, but funnily enough, in a lot of the S tests, I got bronze, but still felt I had some time left. Maybe when I'm at or closer to 100% I'll have another go at the tests and try to upgrade some of my scores. For now though, I'm just happy to be Special!

Congratulations! The S-License Tests shouldn't be too hard to pass, just as long as you concentrate on the best line and gradually improve your times by racing your ghost. By the way, who has all golds? Last week I was able to score golds in R-6, R-7, & R-8 to get all golds in the licenses. Definitely not a feat for the casual gamer.
