First of all I'm still a competitor. And second as I stated I don't really know for sure. I did not try any car with engine swap. So my choice for Special Stage Route X might not be the best choice either. And I'm still undecided for both race 1 and 3.

Your always bragging about having multiples for each car and more credits than you know what to do with. Sounds like you some have work to do.
If you think it's bragging, so be it. I just find it odd that you don't, I think you play more than me yet I have managed to acquire 800 or 900 cars and usually keep my bank account between 90 and 100 million. My biggest problem is lack of time to try all of the different combos. I am not at all up on what are the best or fastest cars in the game, especially when it comes to a small group of select cars. Maybe we also test different, I don't consider running less than 20 laps with a combo a proper test, there's a lot to learn about car and track combos when you spend time lapping.

Would that be LeMans with chicane or LeMans without chicane???

I'm not on every day because I share the console with people in the household. When I'm on GT7. I spend more time than I like to admit testing for new ideas for the league. Along with that I'm very much burned out all the high paying offline races. I also race in a more casual Wednesday night league. It's really nice not having to do all the paperwork afterwards. And then there's other games besides GT7 I do play when I manage to find the time to do so. Currently I only 1 new car left to buy. Then it's only down to high priced Legends Dealer cars. Until they the 8 more cars in December.

Darn I made a lot of mistakes with Week 6. It's like I don't to make my life easier. This will be at the full course layout or with the chicanes. Then interesting characteristics of this car should make the race fun.

I don't know that I found any "interesting charateristics" with this car other than it is not very fast without when the overtake battery runs dry. I suppose I should have tried a pit stop with it. Doesn't seem like tire and fuel life are very well matched.

How the battery reactivates is the interesting. It creates very unique experience in traffic. Or at least I thought it was when testing it. Yeah probably not trying to balance out all the tire compounds is not easy by any means.

Have made some last minute changes. First added notice to Week 6 Race 1. The apron may not be used the part of the race track. Do not make passes or force others to the left of the double yellow lines. Treat it as a wall when not entering or exiting the pits. You don't want to find out what happens if a car stuck down there entering the turns.

The other change is to Week 6 Race 3. I have increased the fuel from x2 to x4. After running a practice race. I learned that Gran Turismo had apparently made so drastic changes to how the Corvette CX.R VGT operates last update. Which I apparently either missed or assumed it wouldn't be as drastic as it is. Anyways the changes significantly increased the cars fuel range. The new setting should require at least 1 fuel stop now. This just as much a penalty for me as I won't be on Thursday or Friday. Sorry! Huh anything else.

Just 1 day left until the Corvette Festival Week 6 Corvette Present and Future. Another look at the C8. Along with a look into a possible future with newly released Corvette Concepts. Also by average speed this our fastest week of Corvette Festival. All three main races require pitting now. Also warning Gran Turismo doesn't provide fuel mapping hub for electric cars. You will have to monitor battery life for race 2 yourself. So it's old school and yes I see the irony. I ran out in a practice race Wednesday. Anyways see you tomorrow night.

I have a feeling that I am missing something that going to cost me big with these goofy electric cars.

Someone is going to run out of fuel race 2 Corvette CX Concept at the Blue Moon Oval. A lot of players are spoiled fuel mapping hub. I honestly wish I could turn it off myself for historical events and other cars that wouldn't fuel mapping

I don't fully hate electric cars like most people seem too. They have great potential. My problem them right now is the US infrastructure is not ready for electric cars. I live in the 3rd most populated city in Pennsylvania and I think we have only 3 charging stations in the area. Until charging stations become much more common and are made universal. We're not ready for them. People are going try going on road trips. And get stranded rural areas.

I'm upset about everything becoming crossovers. A future where every car looks the same is much scarier to me.

I do really like hybrids. Figuring out that we can combine both engines to increase power and efficiency is genuine. And the different boost styles systems gives them their own unique character.

Saturday Night Endurance League Race Night! Week 6 Present and Future of the Corvette Festival!

Race 1 features the 3rd stock one-make for the C8 on Racing Hards at the Daytona Oval. A race of strategy, slipstreaming (drafting), efficiency, and speed. The gear ratios and handling work will for Nascar style super speedway racing. I do recommend manual shifting. Incase high winds in slipstream push you into 7th gear. Winner of the 7 laps qualifying race will get the Pole Bonus. And don't pass or force others below the double yellow lines.

Race 2 is CX Concept on Racing Hards at the Blue Moon Oval. This one will feel more like an IndyCar oval race Nascar. Speeds are insane fast. Watch your battery charge. No help from the hub for this race. Tuning is allowed. Though there's not much you can touch. I do recommend adding the Brake Balance controller upgrade to give yourself some kind of handling adjustment.

Race 3 is CX.R VGT with racing tire allowed at the Le Mans Full Course. The perfect prestigious showcase of new automotive engineering. This one is rain or shine. Make to have wets available. Tuning is allowed though there not much you do to this car. Brake Balance controller already equipped.

Hey guys it sounds like the Spec 3 update and DLC will released a lot sooner into December than I thought. This puts Porsche 962C One-Make Nurburgring Special in weird spot. I intend for this race to be last race before the update. I would have move it up to either Nov 22nd or 29th to do that. It can become our 1st race after the update. I will likely move it back to December 13th then to give everyone more time to adjust. What is everyone else's thoughts on this?

Makes no difference to me

For me, it would be less likely that I can make a race on the 29th (Thanksgiving weekend) or 13th weekend (Father's birthday) but not impossible, as I don't actually have plans for those nights made yet. As I said in PSN chat do whatever you need to do for scheduling and I will work around it.

I alright as of now I plan opening a testing lobby tonight as of Thursday November 13th. This will be the Corvette Festival Week 7 Corvette Open races 1 and 3. Race 1 will be at Willow Springs The Streets Of Willow Springs Reverse or Counterclockwise. Race 3 will be at Grand Valley Highway 1 Forward layout. I should be able to open at the usual 7pm EST. I should be able to be open until 11pm and will try change tracks over about half way. This will be testing only. I have no intentions of holding a test race with the regulations for Saturday.

I built my car for this weekend, I figured one car for all three races since I don't really have an idea for what will be competitive, so instead I just built the car I wanted to haha. I have done my own testing for pit strategies but will try and join your test lobby tonight to get more practice. Honestly 8 laps of special stage X puts me to sleep a little and finds me looking for a cruise control button haha, so I'm ok that wont be on the menu tonight.

Week 7 is intended to be a tuning challenge. I intentionally designed so the same car can't win all 3 races. The race at The Streets Of Willow Springs Reverse tests traction and handling with big horsepower. The race at Special Stage Route X a test of top speed and fuel efficiency. Simply throwing a supercharger on the Gr.3 will not win this race. And Grand Valley Highway 1 requires a little bit everything.
