Oh I get what your saying now that's going to take lots of testing lol.

And when you say same lap time is that within a second?

One more thing couldn't the users just make their own suspension and transmission setup and make their car superior to others in the class? Or is that just part of it?

it takes about a week to get right, but the more time you invest the closer the cars will be, I invested 6 weeks into a group of cars and the top 8 qualified inside 2 tenths of each other,

Wow, that's good.

And so is the racing, Its made split decisions so important. Pit choices are extremely difficult, We had one fella try win his race through pit strategy, he was short 1 litre of fuel and ran out of fuel at the start of the grid slots he went from 1st to 5th in the time it took the car to cross the line,

I'm going to try and get to work on testing as soon as possible. What do you think would be a reasonable time window to start the series up?

How did he take it after the race? Did he bust out laughing that he ran out or did he get mad that he didn't win the race?

The more information you put on the OP the more likely you are to have a good sign up list, if you are going for 4 classes be prepared to drop 2 if you can't get sign ups to some, its better to make one person move a class and have 4 or 5 cars in each class then 1 here and 3 there etc,

if you want a real take on modern le mans regs I can help you, but if you want the 4 different classes based on 4 different era's I can almost give the spec's to you,

I forgot completely about the OP lol

And I don't want the lemans from different eras I want modern. All help will be gladly accepted.

ok bud, I will give you pointers and where to start, I'll guide you through the leg work, that way you will have the skills to adjust it and then later if you plan another series you will have the skills to do that too,

ok mate, will do, I won't be able to help as I'm going to be on doing some final sorting with my own top secret idea's, but will help where I can,

Dave, do you need to max the cars out before you test the cars or do we leave them un upgraded?

After thinking about it 4 racers in a class doesn't seem enough. If you had 2 classes(LMP and GT) it would be a lot harder to win/get a podium finish. Oh and I also just thought that since the races will be an hour to two hours long, and the max timer after the leader crosses the line is 180 sec, most likley everything below P1 wouldn't finish. :scared:

Until we get about 16 people we are considering just running LMP1 and GT2 or LMP2 and GT2 or whatever works.

I have considered the end time situation and the only thing I can come up with is to leave an extra lap at the end so all cars can finish then pass the finish line in your rightful spot on the extra lap. But I don't think that some people would be honest and would go ahead and finish the race....

That's a good idea, it would be nice if all people were trustworthy

Me and my co founder decided to use P1 and GTE AM until we can get around 10 or more people.

What class would you like to race in? GTE AM has 2 teams of 2 and P1 only has one racer I am still undecided but leaning towards P1.

I'm changing the ZR1 RM to a GTE PRO car it's just way to fast for GTE AM. I haven't yet decided the fate of the C5R, my friend also said something about the R8 LMS being too slow but I haven't tested it personally so I don't know if this is true.

Oh, if everyone has the DLC, I would like to request Spa Francorchamps as a track.

I'm going to move the Audi LMS down to GTE Am to make up for the movement of the Corvette.

I have removed the C5R from the list now.
