In it's day, from 1956 to 1960, this 748cc two stroke triple powered car did exceptionally well in motorsport, both in rallies and on the track including 12th overall at Le Mans in 1959. Being two stroke powered it lacked torque at low revs so its Scandinavian drivers including Erik Carlsson pioneered the left foot braking technique - this enabled them to keep the revs high by pressing the throttle and brake simultaneously.
Erik Carlsson sadly passed away in 2015, but this car could be a fitting tribute to one of the world's greatest drivers.
