The way you have is set up, unless everyone is close in speed, you're going to have people quitting out of boredom and no other reason. Could you elaborate on #2 as well?

I've done this with my friends a few time and we have had a blast each time. #2 is like if your going to get lapped move out of the leaders way. The cars are exactly the same and everyone will be legit drivers. So it will be fun
Lapped traffic makes sense. I was under the impression you were expecting folks to just blindly move out of the way for one another which seemed ridiculous.
Same make spec racing is definately a crowd pleaser. It's basically all I do. Leave the tuning out so the focus is purely on driver talents.
