Same tuned cars are not equal in BHP

I have decided to make a Lancer EVO X race at Monza for my friends. We race with full tuned cars, but there is a problem. The cars are not equal in BHP. Some of us have 539 BHP, others have 529 and even one of us has 518 BHP. How could this happen. All of us bought all of the addons, even changed oil, and there is a difference between cars. I don't understand. How could this happened?

I know you said you did the oil change for all but that is usually the difference. I don't know if there is a change if it's done right after purchase or not.

Also something small like ECU tuning or something might have been missed.

If neither of those than that's a pretty bad glitch unless they are standard used cars.

Cars engines are broken in as well which adds hp over time. For instance, someone with a challenger with like 150km on it will have a dozen or so more hp than someone with a brand new challenger.

It is definately the premium EVO X for everyone. Last time we ran 3 races with full tuned VW Golf 5s. I had about 10 BHP less then some of the others. When I bought the car I was not able to change the oil, because the massage said it's OK. Then I ran some laps at the Ring, and I was suddenly able to change the oil and my BHP went up by 10. So I don't know what's happening here...

Like the person above you said, engine break-in creates a HP gain as the engine is broken in. Kind of cool actually.

if that same challenger was driven 150k's never using full throttle and shifting early in the rev range would you have more power as apposed to the same challenger driving 150k's at full throttle and hitting the limiter??? it would be a really nice touch if you could get extra HP if you went to the effort... it would certainty add something to car trading
